The 29th, Video || No Patience Only Pain
[Frisk isn't looking so good. They aren't really looking anywhere, at the moment. Their skin is waxen, chest rising and falling with shallow breaths, the only indication that they're still here at all.
At the least, they're still in their mother's lap. Still being rocked back and forth slowly by a clearly devastated woman, who speaks to them so very, very softly. Tells them about how much she loves them, that they have to stay determined. There's something fearful in the way that she holds them; like she already knows how this ends.
She knows that holding them close isn't going to keep them there.
The camera, previously viewing the two from across the room, turns away. Quiet steps lead to a door, opening into an empty bedroom of an unused apartment. The door closes behind them.]
Frisk is dying. They always were willing to die for the people they love.
[Turning the phone round in their hands, Chara smiles down at the feed. It's not a happy smile.]
That's your fault, isn't it?

Finally. The smile fades, somewhat; a veneer of calm that isn't real, as Chara seats themself upon the bed. Tucks their legs beneath themself, gets comfortable. When you're going to die either way, you may as well enjoy the little things. A slice of pie. Sitting with your shoes on the bed.

So either way, you might as well get comfy. Chara's expression is calm, but nobody knows Chara better than themself. A lifetime of looking for the exits makes it easy to see someone taking in the room rather than the person inside it. Looking for any defining features that could be used.]

[It's not 'just you' anymore when you're someone's servant. This event is based on those one loves, but Chara is convinced the red eyes staring at them are from the 'Chara' that left Hadriel and never returned.]

Why destroy Frisk when you can just destroy yourself; we're the problem, aren't we? You have the caves, you have a knife. Even gods would get bored of bringing the same person back to life, over and over again.

Logically, it's not true. It was proved, when they died after being possessed by a real demon, that someone would come. Even if they didn't call for help, people came.
But underneath that "calm, untouchable demon" mask lied a child who walked up a mountain with no intention of coming back down. Who put up with enough And became the first of many that arrived at Ebott for the first and last time.
And, above all, there is always one life left that needed to and should be snuffed out.]
