But Cel, despite his lingering injuries, is a Fëanorian -- that is, NOT so easy to defeat! The real problem would be if she is still in love with the other man. Cel might invest his heart and lose it. ]

Members of my tribe would say love is an emotion best left to humans, something we should not have adopted.

I've learned to say it out loud though, and I think it makes me a better, stronger person.Even if it doesn't last forever, I think I'd rather have the memory to sustain me.

She knows I would protect her regardless, to the best of my ability.

Good. (His eyes brighten, the silver shining.) I have made her a sword and taught her how to defend herself, but she is small yet and I do not like the idea of her trapped or in a duel. Nothing could stop me from cutting down her opponent.

Sometimes I think I have it all wrong and she is the one protecting me. I went to her whilst we were plagued with spirits and she took me into her home without question.

I am blessed to have those like her and you in my life.
