Members of my tribe would say love is an emotion best left to humans, something we should not have adopted.

I've learned to say it out loud though, and I think it makes me a better, stronger person.Even if it doesn't last forever, I think I'd rather have the memory to sustain me.

got told something once. we give love meaning by choice. it's jst a chemical, otherwise.
paraphrasng, but i believe it. doesn't matter if it's a temporary thing, y'know? still happened, still had an impact. itbecomes a part of who we are.

can't say i know much about being in love--i'd say it's as imprtant, though. gives us a connection with other people, and that makes it worth it.
