Some things worth noting:

1. You can apparently be brought back to your home world and it's as if you've never left it at all. You can be there for weeks, months at a time and then one day, show back up back here and it's only been a day or so here that you've missed. I don't know if anyone else has had this experience before.

It is unpleasant.

2. I went into the tunnels to see if they were anything like the Maze I know of back in my world. There's two interesting things worth noting. The rock inside of the tunnel is different than out in the main area. Not sure if anyone's noticed this yet. It's strange.

But there's something stranger that we found in the tunnels. Deep inside, a ways in, there was a burnt computer chip. Totally useless but it was stranger than the formations almost.

That's about it. I figured it's more valuable to pool our information together rather than hog it to myself. Not going to find any answers that way. In my opinion, if there's tunnels and tunnels made out of different rock then that's got to mean there must be some sort of way out of here. Or at least another place to be found. I didn't explore the entirety of the tunnels and I don't really want to but it is possible.

If you do, run fast, take weapons, and try to remember everything. Back in the Maze, we'd send people in and they'd come back at the end of the day and record the route they took on a piece of paper.

Maybe that wouldn't be a bad place to start. It helped us figure the Maze in the end. Maybe the tunnels will be the same.

Yeah maybe. My roommate's been helping. But it is what it is. I've been thinking about starting a garden or something. Know anything about gardening?

Johanna and I don't really see eye to eye on most things which is not entirely because she's freakishly short

I know some about growing grapes if that counts. How different can it be?

Can't always be helped I suppose. I didn't always see eye-to-eye with a lot of the boys back at the Glade either.

How tall is freakishly short?

I'd count it. I've never had a grape before but food's food, right? If I get a garden running, I could show you a bit.

I don't know [ because Johanna is actually just normal height for a woman. it's Cashmere who is of unusual height. ] She's half a foot shorter than me? Maybe more?

[ if Newt's starting to get the idea that Cashmere and Johanna bicker for no real particular reason, he's right. they just don't like each other and have no problem telling everyone else about it. ]

Yeah I'll check it out. a garden would be useful.

And yeah he's picked up on that pretty fine. Not that he's judging. Although his discussion with Johanna has been less than pleasant. He certainly isn't in the mood for shit like that though.)

My roommate thinks it'd be 'good for me' too. Maybe it'd be good for you as well. People are always in better shape when they've got things to distract themselves with and put their energy into.

I could use a good distraction. What would you grow? The plants here are weird.

Yeah I think a lot of people feel the same. I really like potatoes personally. Strawberries maybe.

I figured I could try and convince the guy to give me some more normal things. I'll ah...stress....the importance of it.
