[Text] (With Pictures!)
So it's day 2 of Ikea madness,
and I figured we should set up some kind of cragslist situation,
so that people can get rid of things they really don't want.
Or if you for some reason feel like filling your house with this stuff
follow your dreams?
Anyway I found this yesterday:
[Attached is a photo of a very odd table, the front half of it, anyway. It's sticking out of an apartment wall at an odd angle, legs mostly horizontal. There's a second photo of the back half, which appears to be in another room.
A jacket is hanging off of one of the hooves. Looks like someone has found a use for it, at least.]
If anyone knows how to get this out of the wall
without like, destroying said wall
they're welcome to it.
But to be honest I'm kind of getting used to it.
Might call it "Dave".
This I'm not too keen on:
[Another image, this one of a kind of unsettling chair.]
Frankly you can just have it.
Please.
[Everyone is welcome to post their new furniture they don't want, or offers to acquire more. Michael is not going to moderate, but it's a platform at least!]

Or getting a ladder.
Flying? Does anyone here fly?

attach sticks to table legs?
Make it taller?
Create a second, equally unsettling piece of furniture to go with the first.
I'm not doing a very good job selling this thing am I.

If I had a saw.
Maybe I could find one?
I have to admit though
I'm a little worried about chair retribution.

You're lucky, though, because you're speaking with an exorcist! [ so if it is possessed, she can take care of it ]
Re: text
Well I don't know the national origin of the table but
someone already agreed to take it
so if anyone needs an exorcist I guess it'd be him?
It's probably not possessed anyway.
No possessions here.
[Is he being convincing enough???]

I hecked up but I'm going to say it's ic
Wait.
What's the Malice?
don't even worry about it!!
It's... It's like the buildup of hatred and vengeance and all the negativity humanity has. It can possess people and when an area of the world is practically soaked with Malice, for instance, old prisons are often avoided due to the haunting of the Malice, it changes everything around it. It drives people and animals mad and even turns them into monsters.

So it's like
kind of like evil spirits?
Is this what the spirits are made of?
Or is this stuff what causes spirits?
And when you say "monsters"
what kind of monsters do you mean?

It was an honest tragedy to witness but I'm lucky to have been there. We were able to release her bonds and send her on her way.
As for monsters, Malice can take a dead dog or cat, or the souls of any creature killed in a tragic way, and change them into something grotesque and dangerous. What type of monster they turn into depends on the situation, location, and even element type they may have been connected to. They often attack humans on sight and can be difficult to deal with if you're caught unaware or have no innate offensive or defensive skill. It's often why people like myself are hired to investigate and take care of the issue.

God
that sounds awful.
So sorcerers can use this malice stuff too?
And okay so
if a spirit gets turned into a monster by the malice
can it possess people after that?
[Asking for a friend.]

Once possessed, it's unlikely that the Malice will leave its host because it's already changed it. They're intertwined until someone releases them. There are ways for humans to make pacts with Malice souls but those people are few and far between. The last one I knew—know—took on a soul that over-powered him and he destroyed Shanghai; that's what happens when you are incapable of properly forming the pact, resulting in true madness and a loss of self.

Kind of scary also?
He destroyed Shanghai?
Like the whole thing?
[This is definitely not the same thing he's dealing with. He... hopes not. He doesn't want to destroy a city, thanks.]

Jesus.
Well,
I hope that's something that doesn't happen often, at least.
