[Anakin is nursing a burned leg - thanks, fire - looking like his usual peppy, happy self.]

Eclipse, leave it alone. [He shows a curious cat sniffing said leg and coaxes it into his lap. Another cat, one that is smaller, with a face that is almost too adorable for words follows in Eclipse's dainty footsteps, laying over Anakin's leg. There. That's better, right?]

Thank you, Ravager. [No, really. This is the terrifying Darth Vader. With a pair of sweet cats.]

I swear this is the last I do for you, Hadriel. Unless there is a burning building filled with cats, you are on your own.

[Cats > People. Obviously.]

Hux? Are you alive? [That's a nice way of checking on someone, right?] Maedhros? Fingon? What about you?

No, and a peg leg would suit you even less than pink hair did.

[Her two are pretty chill, albeit demanding for attention and playful. They definitely won't attack his cats, but she keeps hers as indoor cats for the most part. She doesn't want to chance one of them running into the caverns.]

Perhaps we should have worked together to deal with the flames. I could have cut up enough of the earth to give you something to smother the flames with.

[Hindsight is truly 20/20.]

I cannot? Truly?

[Her tone changes from teasing to something softer at the rest of his words.]

I am unaccustomed to people worrying about my safety...but I don't mind it, either.

And I am so very good at following rules.

[By which she means, she ignores any rules that she feels like.]

There were people who had taken such care in preparing for a potential fire. It seemed best to leave it to the experts.
