[ Anyone who knows Kyrii by now knows that he isn't much of a talker. He's a listener. Well, he's more of a 'stare-er' actually.

But being trapped in a cave and trying to keep everyone relatively safe, even if it meant being stabbed by tree-creatures to do so... He's realizing that not everyone is very capable in taking care of themselves in a fight.

He might as well do something useful with everyone's time and open up a little. ]

Does everyone here... know how to protect themselves?

[ He's sure he's probably the hundredth person to offer what he's about to.

[ When she draws back from the blood, he looks down to his leg to see the torn cloth speckle a small bit with his dark blood.

He then nods to her. ] Arteries. Major organs. [ He points to his own body accordingly. ] Hit one and wear them down. Bleed them out.

[ Instead of making her go again, he steps forward. His hand extends. For the blade. ]

Do you need to rest?

[ She learned the offensive before the defensive. But she'll know both at one point or another. ]

[rather than immediately handing it over, she pauses.] I'm not tired, [she is, actually. her human form is depressingly weak.] but... alright. Tomorrow.

[then she returns the knife, placing the handle in his hand. her expression turns contemplative as her eyes linger on the blade.]

... Learning to fight with a knife needs a lot of quick precision, huh? Aiming for vital spots, weak points— I don't normally have to worry about things like that. I can turn into a dragon, you see. Just fly overhead and roast a few enemies in one go with fire, that's how I learned how to do it.
