We do not lie. We have no need to. There is a weapon that has been transported into the city. This will be proof enough.

As Dr. Sweets pointed out below, you have already changed the original deal. That does not speak well of your reliability.

Perhaps you could transport another object into the city. Something harmless, so it would be of no consequence of a supporter of the parasites were to discover it. The point of this would be to prove that you are as capable as you claim and that you can be trusted to do what you say you will.

We have not changed anything. The offer was to kill Hope and be given the option of coexistence or to be sent home via the Door.

We know that there are those of you who would seek to manipulate us in an attempt to protect the parasites. We would not simply freely give such a weapon to you.

That is entirely logical to be cautious about possible betrayal. However, you are demanding actions from us that are rather extreme and will make us many enemies should those of us considering your offer go through with it.

All I want is some proof that you are capable of bringing things here. It would be troublesome to follow your instructions and then have to wait months for your arrival.

Would it be possible to transport something simple like a cleaning device here? Surely that would not pose much risk to you.
