hey so

i know shit's going down but i've done this solo thing way too long, i'm pretty sure i'm going actual crazy

free booze for whoever wants to come hang out with me in this shithole i've decided is totally the new bar. but i'm cutting you off if you're shitty company or try to eat me alive (this is me, pointing to my eyes and then pointing to you wiggy infected motherfuckers)

❰ an hour later, she'll be found sitting crosslegged on a bar-top with a mostly empty bottle of something opaquely brown held in both hands and resting in front of her. just barely within arm's reach in front of her is a series of four other mostly-empty bottles, 3 glass and 1 plastic, lined from tallest to shortest. she doesn't immediately notice he's arrived unless he makes himself known. until then, she's got distant eyes on the bottle in her hands and she's idly humming a song a few notes at a time. ❱

[ even with clothes nicked from one of the "stores" here in hadriel, cullen somehow manages to look ridiculously medieval. especially with the sword on his hip and the shield at his back. and yet, even with the shield, he still manages to hunch his shoulders a bit as he clears his throat and waits for sally to notice him.

he didn't really think about the fact that emptying the bottles would probably involve someone getting shitfaced. not until he stepped through the door anyway. and now he feels a little bad about that. ]

❰ at the clearing of his throat, she glances up at once, offering a half-smile of greeting as she spots him. one last little gulp is stolen from the bottle in hand, then she sets it with the others, swiveling to uncross her legs and set her feet on a barstool to face him more directly. ❱

Sorry there aren't more. ❰ she doesn't seem too torn up over it, though. ❱ I'm pretty hard to kill, but I think alcohol poisoning's still a thing?

❰ but now she's getting a look at him - at his sword and shield, at the distinctive architecture of his face - and her head tilts a little. ❱ Probably none of my business, but what do you plan on doing with them? Dunno if I left enough for decent molotovs.

cullen pauses in reaching for one of the bottles and gives sally a rather confused look. ] Molotovs? I'm afraid that's a term I'm not familiar with.
