Hey, gang! Hope some of you didn't get maimed-slash-dismembered over the last couple weeks. [stated as breezily as ever, way to go lilith.]

Got a PSA for you all. I know alcohol sounds pretty great, especially after the wendigo crap, but don't drink the stuff in the restaurants without checking it first. I got lucky with the first one I tried-- sorta tasted like a fruit cocktail kind of thing-- but one time a bottle got knocked out of my hands and it dissolved through the floor. So, uh. Yeah.

Also, does anybody else have guns around here? Are you restocking your ammo at all or are you just... rationing it out? I've been trying to look around the armory but every weapon there's of the stabby variety. That's great and all, but you can't shoot swords out of a shotgun.

Oh, def love the corrosive stuff here, believe me. Real good for getting through things with armor. Or carapaces.

But yeah, I'm with you there. I'd rather not put my guts on the line for one-- not figuratively.

Mmm. I believe it might be worth an expedition. Both for potential weapons and potentially drinkable drinks.

Is it only ammunition you're missing? Do you have a firearm?

That's firearms, plural. [She sounds particularly proud of that. Big guns are a girl's best friend, after all.]

I've still got enough to get by if anything comes at me, but I'd like to not run out if I can help it. I haven't been able to scavenge anything at all so far, so once my stash runs out... it's out.

What we need in this place is a forge. I wonder if I can get someone else to volunteer.

By which I mean, I'm quite capable of making ammunition if we can get the raw materials.

I'll lug half the armory over if I have to-- man, I'll even bring the fire if I've gotta. I just don't know how to go about making, you know, the actual forge.

I know the theory. My own specialties are temporal physics and biochemistry, but I suspect we have a sufficient pool of knowledge here to make the attempt.

It'll absolutely ruin my fingernails, of course.
