By now, I imagine that everyone is aware of the shortages we currently face. With Sorrow dead and Hope still in recovery, our food supply may be insecure for some time. And without electricity, it will be difficult for some of us to prepare what we do manage to find.
Under these circumstances, it seems both precarious and inefficient to let everyone scavenge for themselves. For now, I propose creating some kind of communal cooking space were we all can bring what we hunt and gather. An outdoor fire pit might suffice for now, although if someone else has a better proposal I would be glad to hear it.
Would anyone be interested in helping me to set something up?

[Fun times with 'Ty takes everything literally'.]

[Fingon's never even seen those types of staples before, so they're both confused]
I meant that we still had some basic foods left. A bit of bread, at least, and some rice. No race I know of eats metal, and I would not feed it to a guest.

Rice and bread are fine. [Those are things he's eaten before; he's a particular eater and it takes him a while to be willing to try new foods.]

[Nodding] My cousins and I live in the sixth of Delight's houses. If you wish to come over, I can make you something; if not, name a place and time to meet and I will bring it then.

Okay. [He will head over there right away because he is definitely very hungry.]

[Fingon's waiting at the door to bring him inside; on the way to the kitchen, Tiberius will catch sight of scattered clothes and weapons, nets and wires set around the windows, and an odd little portable fountain in the main room.]
Come in. I hope you don't mind the mess; we've been a bit careless in cleaning over these past few weeks.

I don't care if it's messy. [He says it in a simple manner; he himself likes his things to be organized certain ways but other people's stuff is other people's stuff.]

[Fingon ushers him to a seat, then opens the cabinet and removes some flatbread.]
There's a bit of cheese left. Would you like some of that as well?

Without the stove, it might take a bit of time. Do you want to wait?

If you can manipulate it, that should work well enough. Do you need to be outside?
[He pulls out the cast iron and some cooking oil-not quite a traditional grilled cheese, but it should serve.]

[Singing a fire to his will is more the province of his cousins, but Fingon should still be able to manage a small fire.]
Let's do this outside. My kin won't be happy if we manage to burn the kitchen down.
