By now, I imagine that everyone is aware of the shortages we currently face. With Sorrow dead and Hope still in recovery, our food supply may be insecure for some time. And without electricity, it will be difficult for some of us to prepare what we do manage to find.

Under these circumstances, it seems both precarious and inefficient to let everyone scavenge for themselves. For now, I propose creating some kind of communal cooking space were we all can bring what we hunt and gather. An outdoor fire pit might suffice for now, although if someone else has a better proposal I would be glad to hear it.

Would anyone be interested in helping me to set something up?

What kind of food is there? I'm hungry. [And looking miserable too, with this heat. He hates being out in the sunlight, and he can't even scavenge for food now. Hunting and gathering food? Zero experience there.]

It's good to hear that more people know how to cook outdoors; we come from so many worlds that I was not sure what skills are common knowledge.

[Bianca is sitting on top of what might once have been a stone wall, a crossbow slung across her back and a broad-bladed boar spear in her hands. Her hyenas lie in the pool of shade at the base of the wall. All three are gaunt and hardened; Bianca already looks tanned.]

Good plan. We should also be smoking and drying anything we can. Not unrelatedly, I could do with some help transporting - one of those great white furry things. It's a little large to manage alone.
