[She's had time...a few days at least... to sort through things while working to help others. She's holding together as best as she can, but she knows that things here are complicated.]

I'm sure that it's been asked before by others, but I've yet to really find anyone that I can talk to regarding this. So, I've decided to address as many as possible at one time.

[She stalling, she knows she is. And that's not like her. After biting her bottom lip momentarily, she just decides to face the problem head on.]

Has anyone else run into time paradoxes? People from the past and people from the future coexisting when they really shouldn't? Meeting those that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to do so?

How do you deal with it?

[After she asks that question, her demeanor changes.]

Are there any particular projects that can use a slightly disoriented politician that is out of her element?

I've died back home, but a future I will never know has come to confront me nearly as soon as I arrived here.

[That's the both the truth and not even the smallest portion of what's really wrong.]

It's just a lot to absorb all at once.

Then don't think 'bout it all at once. Tell everyone to leave you alone so you get the time to get through all of it. Might be easier to accept in pieces.

Thank you for your sympathy, but it is a reality I acknowledge and knowingly face.

[Does she like it? Kriff no, but she can't change it. Not right now.]

I've never been the type of person to put things aside and not think about them. In a way, it would be a lot easier if I could do so. Although, I suppose asking to be left alone could work.

I guess it'd be kinda hard not to think about. That was stupid of me.

Then do that. Ask 'em all you give you few days. Some space and quiet and do wonders for clearin' the head.

Do you know what a contradiction in desires is? To want one thing but not want it at the same time?

Never thought to call it that, but yeah. [She sighs.] It ain't a nice feelin'. I always found it kinda exhaustin'.
