[Video] ✧ 1st Address
[She's had time...a few days at least... to sort through things while working to help others. She's holding together as best as she can, but she knows that things here are complicated.]
I'm sure that it's been asked before by others, but I've yet to really find anyone that I can talk to regarding this. So, I've decided to address as many as possible at one time.
[She stalling, she knows she is. And that's not like her. After biting her bottom lip momentarily, she just decides to face the problem head on.]
Has anyone else run into time paradoxes? People from the past and people from the future coexisting when they really shouldn't? Meeting those that otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to do so?
How do you deal with it?
[After she asks that question, her demeanor changes.]
Are there any particular projects that can use a slightly disoriented politician that is out of her element?

I'm as proud as any mother could be of her children. But they are both strangers in the long run. It's exhausting if I give myself time long enough to contemplate all the implications, including where they grew up and who was in charge of raising them into the people they become.
[She doubts it was her parents. It would put her children and her parents and her sister's family in more danger than they were before.]
He is a good friend, yes. It seems he remains to be so.
[Not that she ever worried that Obi-Wan would abandon her, Anakin or their children.]
video: private
I can only speak for myself, but were I in your position? As hard as it would be, as exhausting as it would be, I'd want to forge a relationship with my child. I--never had children. I died before I could. There's a man here that I would love to have children with, but apparently the gods prevent such things.
[that would be a concern, especially as it seems that Padme's galaxy was in for a rough patch, to put it mildly]
True friends are rare. I'm glad you had one in him.

[Being pregnant with her twins had been the best, the greatest journey of her life. Even if she had to lie about the father, hide her marriage, Luke and Leia were her joy. She'd finally understood the joy her mother and sister had experienced being mothers.
And... now she has the chance to know her son, albeit later than anyone would have liked.]
I am sorry to hear that, Margaery, if only for your pain in that.
video: private
[Margaery had never felt particularly maternal. oh, she knew it was expected of her to have Tommen's children, but she didn't feel particularly curious about what they'd be like. Matt's children, on the other hand...]
Thank you for your kindness. I'm hoping that one day, Matt and I will be able to leave this place together. Then we'll see about children.

[Something she's done time and time again. And now it only matters because Luke is her son.]
You're right. I'll consider it actively.
[Love always changes how excited one feels about the prospect of motherhood, Margaery. Even if you're in love with a dangerous man. But the other woman's words has her attention.]
And if you were to leave here, where would you go? Isn't it a bit impossible to return to your own world? [Alive.]
video: private
[that's perhaps the time it matters the most]
I hope that it all works out for both of your sakes.
[Matt is dangerous to criminals and those who mean to do harm to others. she knows this and has accepted it about him]
It is impossible to go to my world. But they say that the gods are capable of sending people to other worlds. I would go to his.
Re: video: private
[And not just with Luke. Her son is only a small part of the problem.]
It make sense that you would want to go with him should you leave. That's a possibility that I can't entertain.
[If she goes back with the man she loves, she still dies. End of story.]
video: private
[nothing is ever simple, at least not for the kinds of people who end up here]
But you'll die if you go back to your world.
[Margaery is already determined to find a loophole for her]
video: private
[She doesn't want a loophole. She doesn't really want to go back either. Not to a galaxy being run by someone who is little better than poison in the form of a person.]
My options are to stay here and live or die.
video: private
[Marg would definitely understand the desire to not go back. she has no desire to return to Westeros, even if it were possible]
Then, stay here with your child. The so-called gods will occasionally make life difficult, but far better that than death.
video: private
They're hollow as well. There is nothing that can make it 100% okay and Padmé knows it.]
There are worse things than death, but I suppose that you're right there's not much else that these "gods" can do to make this any harder in my case.
[What can they do? Kill her? Kill Anakin? Luke? From she understands, Hope can resurrect the dead.]
I apologize for this morose topic. I did not intentionally start off to get into something quite so personal.
video: private
They've done nothing too awful while I've been here, but I've heard stories of residents being buried alive to inspire fear. What they've done while I've been here have been nuisances at best, but we can't let ourselves forget what they're capable of.
[they can be killed, true, but Hope does eventually bring them back. it's about the only decent thing the so-called gods do in her opinion]
It's quite all right; you've been subjected the trauma of your death in addition to the confusion of being dropped into Hadriel at the tail-end of a war. Anything you wish to discuss with me will be kept private unless you choose to share it.
video: private
[Because she's fairly certain that it wouldn't work for Anakin. And perhaps not for herself, though she's not as certain about that as she'd like to be.]
Death is no excuse. Were my mother here, I'm sure that she'd express how deeply displeased she is in my manners.
[It's said with a sense of levity, but not without gratitude for what Margaery is offering. A confidante, something she's not had for a long time. Not since Cordaé's death so many years before.]
video: private
[it would work on Margaery. she assumes her lover and her friends would look for her, though]
It will just have to be our little secret, then.
[said with a teasing wink. Margaery still has few people she feels comfortable being her whole self with, but she feels that Padme could be one of them]
