[ Initially, he'd intended to follow up on the information Hux had gathered during his own network post. Hearing the Empire's name bandied about with such casual familiarity was a cause for concern, however over the course of his investigations he'd uncovered something far more disturbing. ]

Question: has anyone ever been returned to their worlds, only to be drawn back at a later stage? If so, what state where they in upon their return.

[He's not going to find her fighting him about the whole "god" thing. She doesn't care how capricious and whimsical they might be.]

That is wise anyway. When people become complacent, they forget that bad things can happen and are always unprepared for when they do.

That is interesting to know. That the illogical nature of this world is limited to our time here. There is one true constant here it would seem—nothing is constant.

Yes, denial is common for those who find the truth of the situation to be too much to handle. And yet, everyone must face reality in the long run.

No, when you put it like that, I suppose it shouldn't be surprising.
However, you sound disappointed that this is the case.

It's true that refusing your enemy a name can strip them of powers they think they have. But then you run the risk of giving them power over you in a different way. It's usually better to use what they call themselves and strip it down to useless words.

As I've been one more than half of my life, I don't know what else or who else I would be.

[And if that doesn't say a lot about her...]

As for what I would suggest, most people who would attempt to control, especially by force, cannot stand to be ignored. No one truly likes it, of course, but megalomaniacs who would be gods despise it all the worse.
