Check in, all of you. And Curvo, Kano, you should come home.
[A pause, then] There's something wrong with Maitimo.

Now I can't. [It hurts. But he has to be strong for Fingon. Maedhros would want that.] It's magic, Fingon. If you keep his body safe, he will [could] come back.

[There's a growing scowl on Fingon's face as he flicks on the video in return, though it's clearly not aimed at Anakin]
This city....

[He runs his finger through his hair distractedly.]
I don't want to leave him alone just yet, though. Even if he can't tell.

[A sigh]
Talk to me about something. Anything. Before I punch a hole in the wall.

[Oh boy, Fingon. His heart hurts for you.]
You know, on Tatooine? There are these massive hairy creatures called Banthas. I always wanted one for a pet when I was kid and one night, I crept out of my window and snuck into the desert. I knew where a pack of them were resting for the night and I was able to get close. They had little Banthas tucked into the middle of the group and I wanted to take one so bad. But then I started thinking about how my mother would feel if I was taken and I ended up touching one of the big ones on the leg.
They're...pretty docile for being so big. The Tusken Raiders ride them and use them to haul all of their finds and gear. The one I touched might have been awake or asleep. Either way, he didn't see me as much of a threat. But I was only nine.

One of my cousins did something like. Celegorm, the next eldest after Maglor- he wandered off one day when we were young and came back with a great reptile from before the Trees were made. His parents made him send it home, though.
[He shakes his head slightly, shaking the old memories off.]
But you were talking about banthas. What happened, then?

He sounds like someone I'd like to know! [It's his turn to chuckle.] Aw, poor guy. That must've been hard for him.
[He can easily imagine himself taking home a baby Bantha. His poor mother would have had to help him return it.]
I went home and my mother never knew anything about it. But, later, I came across one of the Tusken Raiders. [His tone hardens without him realizing.] They were as interesting to me as the Banthas that they rode. He was stuck under a fallen rock. My droid and I helped free him, but his leg was broken. He let us bind it and we stayed the night with him.
In the morning, he was gone - his people had picked him up - and they left us a present: his weapon.

Well. Um... Dying's done wonders for Curufin's personality, maybe it would do the same for Celegorm?] -a handful. Always was. He ended up with a dog, though, so it seems to have worked out in the end.
[He notices the slight shift in tone even through the haze the problem at hand; a slight quizzical frown flits over his face, but the story is more important.]
Weapons often mean a great deal to their wielders. He must have been grateful to have left his with you.
