[Fingon's pacing toward the door when Elrond arrives, clearly wound up and agitated. His explanation is terse.]

He's sleeping. There's nothing wrong, so far as I can see, be he sleeps and won't wake.

[He relaxes slightly at the touch and nods.]

[He leads Elrond to the bedroom he and Maedhros share. Maedhros is still in bed, peacefully sleeping.]
