Okay. I'm looking for someone to teach me how to fight. Fist-fighting, martial arts, swordfighting, guns, I don't care. I'm just sick of everyone else fighting my battles for me.

Oh yeah, that's a good thing. I'm Luke.

Good to meet you, Luke. I'm almost there, so you should see me in about five minutes. Just look for the skinny blonde in jean shorts.

[she arrives at the fire station wearing a plain purple tshirt and a pair of black stretchy pants, sees Luke, and heads over to him]

Hey. I'm here?

[farmboyjedi]

[He offers a smile and a handshake.] Yes, I'm Luke. It's nice to meet you face to face. I hope I can be of some help.

[toiletseat_girl]

[she shakes his hand. it's a surprisingly strong grip for a skinny eighteen year old girl] Same here. And I hope so, too. What did you wanna start with?

[farmboyjedi]

[She is surprisingly strong, and Luke notices it.]

Is there anything you're interested in the most? If not, perhaps a little hand to hand might be a good place.

[there's strength and speed already there to work with. it's just that until coming here, there was a lack of motivation to do anything with it]

That would be fine by me. I'm totally new at all of this, so just. Whatever you think is best?

All right. We'll start a bit slow...you said you don't know all that much, so I'll keep it kind of basic in the beginning and we'll go from there.

Okay. I wouldn't be able to handle much above basic, anyway.

[He starts to explain a few basics. Part of it will be learning to use what she can to her advantage to counter for her smaller size.]

[she never thought of being small as being a potential advantage, but it sounds intriguing]

Probably the best next step is to follow my lead and try a few things. I can instruct and you can try it...if we do it right, no one will get hurt and you'll get a bit of a feel for these first few steps.
