I don't know if it's just me, but I'm curious. Has anyone had a loved one show up but not remember things that you do? My husband is here but he doesn't remember what I do. In fact, he's really far behind what I know and I don't know if I should tell him what happened or if that would change things for his future. Our future.

So if something like that were to happen to you, what would you do?

I'm in a similar situation, only I'm the one that doesn't remember. It should be okay to tell him? He'll probably wanna know, especially if something happens that involves him.

Annd if what my friends have told me is true, I don't think him knowing stuff here will change things back home.

Kinda, yeah. Only they didn't just not remember what I did, but not remember me at all. Some other person did all the things I remember doing, instead. It's really fucked up, when you think about it.

Hm. Has he asked to hear about anything from his future? Figuring out whether he'd want to know is a good start.

No, he's not. Considering our past and what part of it he's from, I doubt that he will either.

Wait and see, maybe? Or make the offer but if he doesn't want to know, leave it at that. From what I hear about others who've left and come back, I'm not sure anything we do here affects what happens somewhere else, anyway.

When Hannibal was here, I had the feeling that he was from a different point in time than me. It was the other way around, I think he was from my future. He didn't tell me anything about what happened. It didn't matter. Our future was here.

I've had something similar happen, though not here. [ There's a little bit of a hm. ] There's a place called the Feywild, and if you're not of fey blood, there's a chance you might not remember your time there. My..friend forgot he titled my sister.

[ And then a faint chuckle. ] A couple of things happened: another friend used a spell to modify his memory. I don't recommend that, it doesn't tend to end well for anyone involved. If you've got any restoration spells, though, that might work to fix his memory?

Not quite. It's not forced, at all, there's always a chance you do remember, it's just.. I suppose some people's brains just can't quite handle it.

Yeah, I'm definitely not recommending the modify memory. Most every time I've seen it used, it's gone poorly. Restoration, though, tends to help. You don't have anything like that one, instead?

It was pretty similar for me, actually. I got here and my husband was here, but from the past—not that long, but it was weird.

I don't know what things you've experienced, but...I'd tell him. It's hard to be left in the dark.

Time here does seem to be very subjective - of my kin here, I am the 'eldest', if you like, for the others are all from before my time... and in some cases, before they died.
