Hello, everyone!

I wanted to remind everyone that the Sewing Shop is here for those who can't find clothing to their taste at the shops. The only payment I require is a bolt of fabric from Tranquility. His task for acquiring the fabric is relatively simple and fair.

I'm also available to teach sewing to anyone who wants to learn how. Please let me know if you'd like lessons.

So it was marriage that allowed you to travel?

Yes. That's how it is for most women in Westeros. In your world, it's different?

It is. We can do anything we want. I'm a soldier. I've traveled across the galaxy.

Across the galaxy? To other planets? What are they like?

They're mostly different, but they can share some similarities. Water, grass, rocks- things like that. Atmosphere, as well, if you want to be able to breath on them without life support of some type.

It must be amazing, going to so many different worlds. I've only been to two--well, three counting the cave. I plan to go to Earth of the 21st century after I leave here.

It can be. The galaxy is a very large and diverse place. Not all friendly.

[Although... not all unfriendly either.]

21st century, huh. Lots of changes, at least on my own Earth.

Is more of it friendly than not?

Yes. I'd imagine it will be a lot to get used to, but I've already had something like an early start, thanks to the phones and other technology here.

I was a soldier. I tended to go to places that had issues.

It likely will, but I think you're right. Earth itself was a varied place anyway. Some places were more advanced than others.

Oh. Of course, that makes sense.

I'd be going to New York City of 2017.

It's a fairly populated city.

I'm aware. Millions upon millions of people and that's just on Manhattan island. I'm going there to join the man I love.

I take it that you have an actual address for him?

I do. I keep it, along with his name, written down on a piece of paper I have with me always. I've heard rumors that going through the Door mucks with your memories, so that way I'll know what I'm there for.

Let's hope that it allows you to keep the piece of paper as well.

It should? After all, I'd imagine it would let me keep my clothes. Perhaps I could sew it into a chemise?

I suppose, but if you hadn't brought up the idea of the paper not travelling through the Door, I would have never thought of an alternative.
