[The sound of a lightsaber is unmistakable. Anakin wields the weapon with ease, running through the techniques in rapid succession. He keeps at it until he is noticeably fatigued. Then he speaks:]

If someone told you that there is a force that connects all things, would you believe them? Do you think there is a higher purpose to this world? Or are some of us stuck here until we lose our minds?

[Is insanity a higher purpose?]

I sometimes wonder if all of this is an exercise in patience. [A quality he lacks. Has always lacked.]

I don't feel stuck. I have more freedom here than I did before. I just wish I could have Hannibal here again.

We don't need that much patience here. We can do things. It's better than being stuck inside all the time. That takes patience.

I could say something like that for a hundred situations. Being scared is natural and you shouldn't beat yourself up over it.

Hannibal is a doctor. He covered the wound until an ambulance got there. I was in a coma, but I lived. And Will killed my dad.

That's what I should have done.

I'm glad they took care of you. But it's not like any of that helped you heal faster. You shouldn't have been hurt in the first place.

A lot of things happen that shouldn't happen. It's the way life is.
