If someone told you that there is a force that connects all things, would you believe them? Do you think there is a higher purpose to this world? Or are some of us stuck here until we lose our minds?

I sometimes wonder if all of this is an exercise in patience. [A quality he lacks. Has always lacked.]

I think we've spoken on this topic before. Yes, I would believe there is a force that connects all things. In fact, that sounds very Elvish, to me.

As for the higher purpose, I was taught in my own world that such a purpose exists, but I I cannot say for certain if that is true. I have often hoped it is, and often despaired of it, and hoped again.

If you mean existence itself, I suspect you may be right.
