I have a thing to ask; a thing that is not acceptable in my world, but it is part of my story and I think I must acknowledge it. I have noticed that other residents of Hadriel share half of my inclination, at least, and I must ask:

Is it possible for one man or woman to be attracted to both genders? I mean no offense. I admit that my first love - unrequited - was female. My wife was surely female! But there was a male...briefly...though he was naught but a monster seeking to ravage the world.

I'm trying to remember what worked on me.

I liked riding, but there are no horses here.

Maybe you could ask for one. Or else just start trying other things. A har might try a roon, or Cobweb was fond of his garden. Maybe you need a project like Seel, or simply something to distract you like a book.

Gardening does interest me and it is less tiring than working in the Forge. My friend taught me of healing herbs and they could be useful for the Clinic.

I owe them. They pieced me back together.

I don't beieve they're the sort to insist on that.

That does not matter to me. This would be my decision.

I suppose, but if we all have to work together I doubt we can afford to be enforcing debts like that.

There is no enforcement. I do this because I feel it is right.

Then I won't stop you, but I think you're making it more of an obligation than it is.
