[It feels like forever since he's made a network post, even though it's really only been about a month. But a lot has happened, and he's going to talk about absolutely none of it.
Instead, there are some pressing issues affecting everyone, and those are more important right now.]
Although this event is distracting, to put it mildly, it might help to focus on something else if possible. We know that we'll soon change locations, and since we have warning we can try to prepare; even if we don't know exactly where we're going to end up, making sure we have enough supplies, clothing, and that sort of thing will help, especially if things go unexpectedly.
[Like there's something wrong when they move, or the gods forgot to warn them about something, or the planet is different from how they remember, or any number of other reasons that might interrupt those in Hadriel's usual abilities to just go scavenge for what they might need.]
So those who are able to do so might consider preparing a little, as well as helping friends and acquaintances who might not be able to do because of the event. Even if you're not interested in looking for or stockpiling anything, those who haven't already should check in on those they know and make sure they're doing alright.
[Considering the range in severity this event.]

Yes, I was.
Re: text
How did the go the other time? Supplies and shelter-wise?
text
Last time was directly after the attack by the Null, so Hope was unable to provide any supplies and we were all pretty much on our own for a few months. Presumably, this time will go smoother.
[He really, really hopes it does, anyway. That had been very difficult; everyone was dealing with the aftermath of the battle itself, and then also pretty much no food, no electricity, and no running water.]
Re: text
Yeah, I hope so. I don't really trust those guys to worry about us that much, but we could use at least his help.
People should probably gear up, in case the place they take us too isn't safe. They're aiming to take us away from the Null, but there could be other stuff there. There's probably not enough time to build up city-wide defenses, but getting the word out to people to at least get geared up would be a good idea.
text
What type of gearing up do you mean? Defensively?
[That's what it sounds like but he wants to be sure.]
Re: text
Maybe we should focus on getting kids taken care of first.
And yeah. Not sure how many people around here got magic or battle training and stuff.
text
[Thankfully. Kids shouldn't have to deal with this place, and most of those that Lance knows of who remain are at least in their teens, but he's definitely all for the idea trying to take care of them first; unfortunately the whole teenage thing also often comes with refusing anyone taking care of them.]
It's a surprising number, but there are definitely people who don't normally carry weapons that could benefit from at least making sure they have a knife or something, especially if we end up in the jungle.
[Because potential danger, but also just vines and such.]
Re: text
The armory looked pretty stocked. Not sure if there's enough for everyone, at least the easier to use stuff. And we don't have enough info to know what's on the other side. But better safe than sorry, I guess.
text
[And Lance definitely respects prodigy-type kids, having been one, but having been one also helps him remember that they're still kids.]
Yeah, agreed. The worst case scenario is everyone is over-prepared and have to put some weapons back; thanks for the suggestion.
Re: text
[ Another one of her friends she wishes wasn't stuck here, but is happy to have around. Added bonus of him being so young, but, at the same time, he's more than capable of taking care of himself. ]
Yeah, no problem.
Think the best way is to get a lot of people involved and informed so no one steps on anyone else's toes, you know?
