[It feels like forever since he's made a network post, even though it's really only been about a month. But a lot has happened, and he's going to talk about absolutely none of it.
Instead, there are some pressing issues affecting everyone, and those are more important right now.]
Although this event is distracting, to put it mildly, it might help to focus on something else if possible. We know that we'll soon change locations, and since we have warning we can try to prepare; even if we don't know exactly where we're going to end up, making sure we have enough supplies, clothing, and that sort of thing will help, especially if things go unexpectedly.
[Like there's something wrong when they move, or the gods forgot to warn them about something, or the planet is different from how they remember, or any number of other reasons that might interrupt those in Hadriel's usual abilities to just go scavenge for what they might need.]
So those who are able to do so might consider preparing a little, as well as helping friends and acquaintances who might not be able to do because of the event. Even if you're not interested in looking for or stockpiling anything, those who haven't already should check in on those they know and make sure they're doing alright.
[Considering the range in severity this event.]

Clothing might be the problem. We're not prepared for ice.

[Getting from house to house on the frozen planet could be dangerous, they don't know anything about the actual landscape of the water planet, and who's to say there won't be jungle planets and vines and who knows what else just in the road on that planet?]

How do we prepare for three completely different chances?

I don't think it's a particularly popular choice, so it's probably unlikely we'll end up there this time. However, any advice you have could still be useful, especially if we go there in the future.

That was my understanding, and you have no idea how glad I am of it. I can record what I can when this is over, should be ever be in need of it.
As to other preparations: Celebrimbor has discussed building boats, though I am unsure whether he's had the chance to make any progress on the task.

It's a lot to try to prepare for everything, since it sounds like the climate will be really different depending on where we go. I'd suggest we try to do something a little more centralized, but that hasn't worked too well in the past.

[So it feels wrong to take any credit. He's also concerned about anyone who's blind and hasn't gotten their screen-reader to work, or anyone super unlucky who ended up both blind and deaf, but he can't really do anything about that himself right now.]
I know; I wish we had a better idea of exactly what we were going to be dealing with. General supplies will at least work for any of them, as they all have the potential of new hazards that might take a few days to get used to, but for more specific things like clothing choices we may have to just take a guess at which planet is going to win the vote.

I have a remedy for dangerous jungle plants. [ He holds up a gleaming Elven scimitar and grins. And then he picks up another tool and flourishes it. It is a machete. ] Either of these will work quite well, I should think. We have heaps of Null bodies and therefore lots of metal that can be processed into simple, effective cutting tools or weaponry.
And as for boats, Celebrimbor and I are thinking along the same lines. At this moment, I am making some drawings and starting a materials list. I asked Sorrow about this problem, saying that if we go to the water planet, we might need to get from island to island. He said he'd think about it, and that possibly transportation would be provided. I asked him to let us know if we need to build anything. But I'm not counting on the gods to provide for us. Best to be prepared, as you say, Lance.
text
[Because let's be real, it is Hadriel.]
"He'll think about it" isn't entirely confidence-inspiring, so yeah, it's probably best if we don't rely on anything being provided. What kind of boats are you thinking of?
[Because Lance is worried about the idea of trying to navigate something small, like a canoe or kayak, in unknown water; not only could there be creatures lurking, but who knows what the currents or waves could be like? They're probably especially turbulent between islands, too, especially in narrower passages.]

You lost your voice didn't you?

I think it'd be a good idea to organize a "bank" for this sort of thing just in case. Everyone making their stash, but we should have some back up for emergencies, if there's enough food and clothes to go around.
Were you here the last time this place moved?

Yes, I was.

My voice is gone. Considering the other things I've been seeing, though, I should feel lucky.

I don't think the ice world is going to win, but just in case I was hoping to harvest everything possible from my garden before the move... would you like anything? It'll probably be too much to store unless I find canning supplies, which made me realize something else.
We'll probably lose power and water again, for at time. It might be worth mentioning to people that besides food and clothing, we should stockpile water.
text;
I think that's a good idea; even if we don't go to the frozen planet, who knows if the other locations will be able to support the garden either. If you have some spares then sure, I'll take a few, thank you.
[He really should be brave and try cooking again, but until then at the very least he needs some better nutrition provided by something other than what he can scrounge up in the stores.
And Pell's last comments are something he hadn't thought about; he's not sure if they'll actually be a concern, because Hope is here this time, but it's definitely better to be prepared.]
You're right; that's a good idea. Even if it turns out everything goes fine regarding water and electricity, it won't hurt to have stocked up on water.
