I thought about making this private, but I have nothing to hide. My words are typed in the hope that they will do someone good.

I come from a world that is harsh and unforgiving. Decent people die everyday and, more often than not, there is no one to mourn them. Life isn't endless for most, though it can be exceedingly long, and I think, when it's all said and done, the thing that matters the most is how we spent our days.

Personally, I do not wish to be remembered as a victim. Whatever is in store for us
(according to the Null) is outside of our control. Do what you think is right today.

Do not live in fear. Otherwise they win.

Sorrow is dead.

[No use in trying to sugarcoat it. Most of the perceptive ones could have probably figured that out already. And with Sorrow dead and Hope in peril, it falls to- well, this asshole to figure something out.

Fear isn't exactly strategist or leader material, but he's helped to get this far. That has to count for something.]

I've temporarily secured the network against the Null. They'll probably access it again so I am erasing this post after 24 hours.

I can't transport the city to a safe place until the Null are out of it or they'll just upload the coordinates to their friends. So I'm going to move it once at the end of this message. You have seven days to get every last one of them out of the city. Put them in the caves or kill them, I don't care. After that, the city is moving again. Somewhere new.

If they're not all cleared out by then, they'll find us and I won't have the energy left to move the city again.

So don't screw this up.

Hi, yes, ah... I know there's... quite a lot going on at the moment, and I'd like to help with the whole... removing the infestation from the city, but I've forgotten how to use my weapon. A bit. And just about everything else as well. If there's someone who can- who has some kind of magic, or ability to restore memories, then I would be very grateful. Apparently I sort of died and lost them all, so I'm understandably eager to get them back. I think.

[ It's hard to be sure of anything in this condition, honestly. ]

All I can offer in terms of "why do it" is that I'll be much more useful with my memories back than I am now, so... there's that.

[Rest is important. Although Ikaruga has been doing more than her fair share in the battle against the Null and in protecting Hope, she's remembering to pace herself. The only times she's left Hope's temple have been to eat, get water, and to find a defended spot to catch some rest.

At the moment, though, she has a few words to share. Words that she hopes will give people the strength they need to endure long enough to wipe out all of the Null here.
]

Amidst all of the fighting, I had a moment of clarity. Not only are our present circumstances the fault of the Null, but it is their fault that we were brought here in the first place.

[There's a quiet pause, and the sound of a cup being set down a moment later.]

They once lived in harmony with the gods and the previous hosts. Then they wiped out all of the previous hosts and nearly all of the gods because they were absolutely terrified of feeling emotion. Starving and desperate, the remaining gods used the Door and brought us here. Ultimately, every hardship we have faced here can be traced back to them in the end.

[The gods aren't blameless, but it's important right now to highlight the Null's involvement in all of this, when people are becoming exhausted. She wants them to draw strength from their anger.]

Take every shred of anger you have ever felt toward the gods and channel it against the Null. Let them learn what it means to face the full force of our collective wrath. Give them hell.

[There's a sound of a sword being unsheathed before she cuts the feed.]
