(Drawn to the shore again, Sansa is perched on a rock with an open book in her lap - or, rather, an open journal in her lap. She is writing fluidly, recording her experiences and her thoughts. At any point, she could disappear and leave only the journal behind, she knows, thus there isn't anything too damning on the pages.)

I should begin writing songs again. (She pauses and smiles, glancing out over the sea.) There are days that I don't feel much like singing. I can't really explain why I feel that way. My situation here is far better than it ever was on Westeros.

(But...)

I feel as if my life is on hold. (She sets her pen aside and absently examines the ink on her fingers.) What do you value in life? What makes it worthwhile for you?

(Private to Lady Jeyne.)

Would you have dinner with me? I think we have much to discuss. My brother was...is...very dear to me. What happened to him changed my life forever. (Does Jeyne feel the same way? Sansa wants to know.)

(She makes her way down the shore, peeking at his surroundings to gauge where he is resting.)

They will for you and for Maglor too. They won't forget you; you are their family.

(She grins a little when she comes across a red seashell. Picking it up, she tucks it into her bag too.)

{She won't have a hard time finding him!}

I do not know if Kano will ever let himself Sail, even if he was given permission to.

{Maedhros smiles, warmed by her affectionate words.}

How could I do any less? From the beginning of your time here, you have been reminding me!

(The video will end abruptly. She has spotted him! Sansa is very light-footed, her delight helping her to be swifter. Get ready for a hug, Maedhros!)

He is so stubborn.

(She loves that about Maglor, but it does him no good!)

They will need to fetch him. By force, if necessary!

{Then she won't mind getting scooped up in a hug, right?}

I hope they do find him, for it would mean he let them.

(Nope! She laughs and holds onto him tightly.)

I am fond of that trait - except when it harms you. (Her expression falls.) He can cloak himself so well?

{Excellent! Maedhros holds her close and kisses the top of her head before setting her gently back on her feet.}

You have seen his mastery of the Music, Sansa. In addition, each of my brothers and I have had extensive experience in not being found if we do not wish to be.

(She is barefoot - a complete oddity for such a refined lady - but the shore is so nice. She likes to feel the smooth stones and the sand beneath her feet. Reaching into her bag once he sets her down, she presents him with the little red seashell.)

(Little red shells are difficult to ignore. Sansa would like to find more; there are plenty of projects she could begin with such pretty ornaments.)

{Maedhros will love anything she gives him.

He chuckles unabashed.} We have. All three, stubborn and willful!

(She flushes and rests a hand on his chest.)

You must inspire it. (Sansa, like Elrond and Elros, understands why.) I'm sorry, Maedhros. You should have had a quiet, loving family your whole life.

{Maedhros hugs her to him again, sighing softly.}

Alas, quiet does not seem to have been meant for me. But I do have a loving family.

(She returns the embrace, peeking up at him.)

Me neither. (But it's bearable right now.) Were you thinking of them? Is that why you came here?

{Maedhros smooths a hand over her hair, admiring the vibrant color and offering comfort.}

They are never far from my thoughts. But no, not this time. Kano is more likely to haunt the shores in their memory than I.

(She marvels that he can be so strong and yet so gentle. Sansa respects him for that; strength doesn't mean violence. It comes from the heart.)

The water is beautiful. I thought snow was my favorite sight - and I do love it - but the water appeals to me too. It must be my Tully blood. My mother's family admires fish.

{No child will come to harm at Maedhros' hand or command.}

It is! Though this is not easy to swim, as I learned first hand.

(She doesn't consider herself a child, but to him, she is laughably young.)

I was not as brave as you! I have been taking lessons in safer pools.

{She is old in experience, much as Maedhros wishes otherwise.}

I was hardly thinking clearly! I only knew I was parted from my family and needed to get back. I should have drowned!

No! (She tucks her cheek against him, hiding her sudden frown. He had been joking, yet she had immediately disagreed.)

{Maedhros wraps his arms around her, resting his cheek against her hair.}

Forgive me. I will not willingly leave any of you.

(She cannot help imagining him dying like her family had. So far, the curse hasn't touched him, Maglor or Fingon. Is that simple luck or fate?)

I know. I worry...

Seeing Jon and Lady Jeyne remind me of what I left behind. I am so glad they are here, but they are suffering as much as I am.

{Perhaps Maedhros has died enough times before her arrival?

He holds her tighter before his arms loosen again, still cradling her close. Only when she indicates wanting to step away will he let her go.}

I wish I could ease your suffering, Sansa. You deserve the best there is to life.

(Most definitely! No more of that.

She won't step back easily. He feels safe and she notices that her heart stops racing when he is near.)

I have it. I had to travel to two other worlds to find it, but I don't mind.

{She brings light where she walks, and life. Maedhros remembers how it is to be happy, even when away from Fingon, when he's with her.}

Then it has been worthwhile. I am glad for that.

(She reaches out to gently hold his right wrist, resting her cheek against it.)

I thought I wanted to die in Ruby City. Now all I desire is to live with Maglor, Fingon, Curufin and you.
