t w o . ( TEXT ) . we stood up, we stood up
General Notice:
I'm looking for people with powers to run some tests on. It involves being observed using your abilities, but that's it. Can't exactly give you much for it, unless you need an alarm system.
First wave of testing will take place in a week near the colosseum. There may be second or third waves in future. Testing is expected to take several hours overall.
Any questions?

not ... that that generally takes very much, given his natural curiosity, but. potato, potahto. )
That sounds pretty useful, actually.
What kind of place are you from?
text;
text;
Unless you count magic. That's a little more common.
( still doesn't exactly fit into the powers category, sam. )
text;
[ that's... Probably not it. ]
text;
Double, double, toil and trouble, but you got the gist of it.
But not really. Not quite - even if there is a lot of mixing and incantations involved. Close enough.
( let it never be said that he didn't study his shakespeare. )
text;
Huh. Always thought that was just Seers making shit up. Guess it comes from somewhere.

[ Now she's wondering if some of the stories her mum used to tell her have a basis in fact. ]
text;
I'm not denying the fact that some things originated as stories and nothing else, but when you think about it, it makes sense that SOME things might have a little bit of truth to them, no matter where or when they were started.
text;
You make a good point. Always preferred to think of stories as stories.
So, what else is true?
text;
Vampires aren't allergic to garlic.
( are we really going that route rn sam. are we. )
text;
Why would they be?
[ wasn't it chili pepper in all the stories back home? ]
text;
A lot of stories say as much. Along with aversions to crucifixes, the sun and needing to sleep in coffins.
( chili pepper? really? )
text;
text;
( that's interesting. )
text;
... Maybe it was 'in bat form'. Can't really remember.
text;
But now I'm thinking about vaguely-humanoid things hanging upside down by their toes.
It's an interesting mental image.
text;
Thry keep all their strength in their big toe. You don't want to be kicked by one.
[ that's... Supposed to be funny. ]
text;
and she wouldn't know it, but he totally just chuckled. sincerely. )
Maybe somewhere along the line they got crossed with some kangaroo DNA - that would make them even more deadly.
( sam ... no ... )
text;
... Would they hop like kangaroos?
text;
That wouldn't be very threatening, would it?
But ... maybe.
text;
Quicker than walking and easier than turning into a bat at least.
text;
But turning into a bat would have to be the best part of being a vamp. I mean, what's so great about having to drink blood for the rest of your life?
( do we need to go back and talk about your demon blood addiction. do we. )
text;
You don't think transforming looks painful?
text;
( that makes sense, right? )
