[Rain is NOT her friend. In fact, she hates it with a passion. Not that it really matters because hating something isn't going to make it go away.]

Has anyone else had to deal with the change in their moods with the way this weather is going? I want to go out and run, but this weather isn't going to allow that. I miss the sunlight. If and when this stops I definitely won't miss looking like a drowned rat, that's for sure.

Also, we'll have to see what this has done to the places around us. Maybe see about helping each other get stuff situated. For me it's just a matter of needing something to do.

[He hasn't enjoyed the rain either. He enjoyed the small person crashing into the room he was in even less, but that's another story. For someone who lived most of his life in a desert one might think a little rain would be a godsend, but Jet is far too used to whatever falls from the sky being poison.

Given the sheer volume of it, this hadn't been much better.

You can run inside the house.

Why must you be so difficult?

I believe that it does.

I am only so because it is necessary.

You're careless.

You have been going out into the rain before this as well. It is dangerous, we are surrounded by water, Evangeline.

What you asked?

So you can be even more reckless while thinking you can protect yourself from anything?

I'm with you. Being out in the rain is nice sometimes, but that's when it's warm. This is a little much. I really hope we haven't entered the rainy season or this might be the new normal.

Kinda drippy. I know the best thing to do is stay inside, but I get cabin fever fast.

Absolutely. Try telling him the two of you can go scavenging for an extra-large umbrella as a couples bonding activity.

Uh-huh. Nathan Drake. He can get pretty protective sometimes, but he also knows I can out-stubborn him if it's unnecessary.

The alternate option is not telling him and doing what I want to do anyway, but dishonesty doesn't really lead to good things in the end.

I guess it might not be worth the argument when it's about whether to go out in the rain or not. If it's not too presumptuous to say, though, I hope you decide for yourself when it's about other things.

A reason besides getting wet and gross?

Fair enough. There's something to be said for maintaining some kind of privacy here.

I suppose we're not that different from the typical small town where everyone knows most of everyone else's business. This small town just has gods and magic and killer robots sometimes.
