[Rain is NOT her friend. In fact, she hates it with a passion. Not that it really matters because hating something isn't going to make it go away.]
Has anyone else had to deal with the change in their moods with the way this weather is going? I want to go out and run, but this weather isn't going to allow that. I miss the sunlight. If and when this stops I definitely won't miss looking like a drowned rat, that's for sure.
Also, we'll have to see what this has done to the places around us. Maybe see about helping each other get stuff situated. For me it's just a matter of needing something to do.

Given the sheer volume of it, this hadn't been much better.]
looking to get something organized?
can count me in if you need extra hands.
Re: text;
[Only reason Evangeline even hates the rain is because it messes with her abilities. Her husband hated it probably more than she did even.]
I just figure with all the destruction this rain has done, people might need help. So maybe we should see who needs help and who doesn't, go from there.
Otherwise, I'm going to go stir crazy in this house.

used to being able to drive for miles in a straight line and still not get anywhere.
no subject
That it definitely is.
Where could you go where you could drive for miles and not get anywhere?
no subject
california desert.
no subject
I've never heard of it. Could you really not get anywhere?
no subject
wasnt anything outside the zones. thats what they told us. no one ever got far enough to come back and say it wasnt true.
no subject
That's pretty messed up, I'm sorry. At least here it's not all desert?
no subject
heres not so bad though. dont mind the rain here. maybe less of it.

[ win/win for him. ]

I am not running inside our home, Aric.

no subject
It might be safer but I'm not running around in our home.

Why must you be so stubborn and over protective?
no subject
no subject
Being old doesn't explain why you're so damn stubborn and overprotective.
no subject
no subject
I believe it doesn't. Not the overbearing part anyway.
no subject
no subject
It's not necessary to be this overbearing, Aric. Nothing calls for that.

I am not being careless. What have I been careless about since being here?

I know what we're surrounded by, Aric. However, I'm not going to stay cooped up. If you'd do what I asked then perhaps we wouldn't have to worry about what this does to me.

Yes, what I asked. Training me to protect myself.
[Nothing to do with her abilities.]

Re: text;
For me it's more that it just bothers me in general. I don't have an aversion to it, but this is ridiculous. How have you been?

Re: text;
Trust me, I understand the cabin fever. My husband is trying to convince me to stay inside. I don't like this rain but I can't just sit around, you know.
text;
Re: text;
I'm not sure that he'd go for that. Then again, with Aric there's really no telling. He'd rather just keep me cooped up and away from the cold rain.

Re: text;
Overprotective and overbearing. Is your husband here?

Re: text;
Out-stubborning Aric is like pulling teeth. It's a pain in the ass.

Re: text;
Last thing I need is for my husband to be overly annoyed and trying to stop me anyway. Besides, I wouldn't want to do that to him.

Re: text;
I don't let Aric make my decisions for me if that's what you're afraid of. The rain, however, he's just wary of and for good reason.

Re: text;
Yes, a reason besides getting wet and gross. Something that I'd tell in person but not over the network.

Re: text;
If we don't then what are we really doing? Or something to that effect anyway.
