[Rain is NOT her friend. In fact, she hates it with a passion. Not that it really matters because hating something isn't going to make it go away.]

Has anyone else had to deal with the change in their moods with the way this weather is going? I want to go out and run, but this weather isn't going to allow that. I miss the sunlight. If and when this stops I definitely won't miss looking like a drowned rat, that's for sure.

Also, we'll have to see what this has done to the places around us. Maybe see about helping each other get stuff situated. For me it's just a matter of needing something to do.

Absolutely. Try telling him the two of you can go scavenging for an extra-large umbrella as a couples bonding activity.

I'm not sure that he'd go for that. Then again, with Aric there's really no telling. He'd rather just keep me cooped up and away from the cold rain.

Uh-huh. Nathan Drake. He can get pretty protective sometimes, but he also knows I can out-stubborn him if it's unnecessary.

The alternate option is not telling him and doing what I want to do anyway, but dishonesty doesn't really lead to good things in the end.

I guess it might not be worth the argument when it's about whether to go out in the rain or not. If it's not too presumptuous to say, though, I hope you decide for yourself when it's about other things.

I don't let Aric make my decisions for me if that's what you're afraid of. The rain, however, he's just wary of and for good reason.

I suppose we're not that different from the typical small town where everyone knows most of everyone else's business. This small town just has gods and magic and killer robots sometimes.
