I gave the ones we found to the lab the hour we landed. As far as I'm concerned whatever kate and alphys want to do with them is fine with me

but if anyone is holding a fragment hostage, I'll fix that.

not presently, since no one has been forthcoming with information. no surprise if I've already threatened to go after them but whatever.

why wouldn't I be? I want to get the hell out of here. I want the fragments studied and properly used, not sitting in a box until we all get attacked and die.

sending those fragments to the lab was a stupid idea from the start.
sorrow knows how best to handle them. willing to do what it takes to get the fragments to him so they're not just sitting someplace else being useless.

it's a problem because even in those boxes, just being near the fragments can make you go a little crazy.
the longer we keep those things around like they are, the more we're unnecessarily putting people at risk.

I think you're being optimistic with the idea that there's any sort of plan.

[He's feeling a little salty about this entire mess he's been observing ever since getting back, and doesn't think it's totally necessary to hide it when talking to Harlan, so salt it is. But, more helpfully--]

So far it's mostly looked like a bunch of posturing over getting the pieces together at the lab for studying, which I get the motivation for wanting to do, but it really doesn't seem like holding onto the pieces is going to benefit us at all. Even if we learn something, we probably cant use the pieces ourselves.

You know I'm pretty much always on board for diplomacy.

I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some missing. People tend to react contrarily when ordered to do something, and the previous threats regarding turning over pieces to the lab may not have gone over well. You have a better chance of finding out about any that might be being withheld, though.
