We need to move. Between the energy from the Door and other concerns, we can't stay here - it's far too dangerous. Thanks to your help, we believe it's possible to use the Door to move the city rather than Fear's powers. This should be substantially easier on you.
Going back underground is still unlikely to be safe. Of the planet surfaces that we've identified as safe, there are two remaining. Sorrow mentioned them before, but I will repeat the gist of what he said, for anyone who wasn't here before - or anyone who simply didn't pay attention.
One planet is rich and lush, with enough cover from the plants and trees that we should be able to effectively hide from the Null. It is warmer and more humid than this world, if you wish for a place with a climate more amenable to your bodies. It will also provide trees, animals, and edible plants.
The other is cold and mainly devoid of life. It would also be a change of climate, but a less amenable one, rather than more. It is the first planet the Null attacked, and where we had embassies. There may still be some information there, but I can't guarantee it. In addition, it may hold dangers we aren't aware of.
These are your choices. I apologize for being unable to offer you more, but it's unlikely that any of the locations we've traveled to in the past are safe any longer.
Please make your choice.

Where shall we move the city to?

[GAMES YEAAAAAA]
i almost forgot that was a thing. has it actually given us anything useful?
text
[Well, it's all retro to Rey, but since most people here who come from a similar world as herself, those games would be more up to their date.]
a little. it came to us about the fragments and the fact that the door is another god. dont know if it's brought anything else to the table.
text
[Because that's clearly what's important here, all the games and shit right]
weird, okay, i think this is the first time i've heard of the door being a god. this thing is alive, like how does that even work?
text
[As in, it's just a guy moving around a box to harp music in the background. Rey only played it once and that was all the time she needed to know she's never opening it back up again.]
not sure if "alive" is the right word. more like an ancient precursor to the gods we deal with now, like the neanderthals to humans except a being of chaos and discord. even the gods can't really figure it out - and sorrow's the only one who knew what it really was.
Re: text
[That's probably not what he would have expected though, what even is that]
i was about to say, because like all these guys have this emotion theme going. you can't really call "door" an emotion.
text
[His guess would be as good as hers. She only tried it once out of curiosity. Never again...]
just a guess, but it's possible that their precursors werent powered by designated emotions. something attracted to chaos seems more like a force of nature than anything else.
Re: text
also that makes sense. i mean kind of, i still don't understand any of this weirdness so i'm like in this 'just smile and nod' mode, but that's basically how i've been since i got here.
Re: text
been here for almost 3 years tho. thats long enough to be able to make some educated guesses and get used to this bullshit.
Re: text
that's a pretty long time for this place, isn't it? i haven't heard of anyone being around much longer than that.
Re: text
it is, sort of. there are only a couple others who have been around for longer - the beginning, even. most tend to go shortly after the anti-honeymoon phase.
Re: text
text
which no we dont have any control over that or else most people wouldn't even be here.
text
assuming it ever does, i guess.
