[Noh-Varr is no stranger to interdimensional travel. Sure, most of the time that travel's been done with intent, but he's seen enough cosmic weirdness to know that you can't always control where you end up. He's spent the past couple of days exploring Hadriel and acclimating to the new locale, and it appears that he is, for now, here to stay.
Which means there's an important correction that needs to be made.]
There was a man I spoke with recently who suggested that my stay in this city would be a temporary one. It would seem that observation was incorrect.
[Just callin' it like it is, Newt.]
I am also now in possession of a phone that operates here, so if you still require assistance in locating your own phone, I can help.

[It’s a fact - one that humans have been all too keen to highlight.]
But you’re saying that is where and when the Door will return me?
audio
[ Kind of nonchalant. At this point, it's whatever for her. ]
audio
[He matches her tone of nonchalance; these are facts. As far as his friends ... they probably wouldn't miss him much. The Young Avengers were a tightly knit group before he joined them, and his usefulness in fighting Mother had largely been in transporting them in his ship, with firepower and fighting skill coming in second, though he was by no means the most powerful fighter of the team. Even among those he came to regard as friends, Noh was still an outsider, and keenly aware of that fact.]
You've been returned to your home and brought back here, then? You said you have personal experience.
audio
I did say that, yep. I went home, fucked around a bit without a damn memory of this shithole, and then was whisked back like fucking Dorothy to Oz. And some six months passed here.
Hey, you know that people from your home can show up here, too, right? Like... dead people. [ Just a heads up because didn't he say his family was dead. That's always a good thing to get a warning about even if it's unlikely. ]
audio
[Thanks to Mother, Noh’s already had a run-in with his dead parents ... kinda.]
How long have you been kept here in total?
audio
Uh, fuck, two and a half years? Maybe a little over. [ Give a couple of weeks or months, it's not exactly something she enjoys keeping track of (except she's kind of like that old person who existed for so long she's yelling about how things were 'back in her day'). ] Don't worry, it's not super common to be around that long, though we've got a pretty chunk of people who've been here over a year now.
[ SO MAYBE YOU WILL BE TOO. So much for 'don't worry'. ]
audio
And has no one studied the patterns of arrivals and departures for any patterns?
audio
audio
[Surprise - Noh happens to be one of those nerd types himself.]
Thank you for your help. I appreciate the information you’ve given me.

And yeah, no problem. I'm Little Miss Helpful.
