Hey guys! Private Donut here with a friendly PSA - that’s a Public Service Announcement for anyone not familiar with 26th century lingo.

Since we all found ourselves in a chilly situation these last few days, I figured I’d give a few Pro-Tips for surviving an ice planet on account that I’ve got experience with it. 

[ He clears his throat. ]

1. Traveling
If you find yourself without your trusty vehicle, don’t worry all you have to do is find the biggest, nastiest, meanest, land animal and beat the crap out of it and saddle it up!

2. Entertainment
As we all know, revolutionists like to hide out in deserted ice planets so get on your sturdy steed and find yourself a Rebel Base! It’s bound to have all sorts of reading material and if that’s not really your style they should have some working generators lying around you can hook up all your gadgets and electric blankets too.

3. Food 
Hibernate! Go ahead and eat all the food you have on hand in one go, then sleep until we’re back to sunny days! Now, if you’re not a bear or Grif, or if you just can’t hibernate, then I suggest you go back to your land animal, sharpen your trusty paring knife and slash that sucker open and BAM! Food for weeks!

4. The Cold: Survivor Edition
When your Ugg boots just aren’t enough. Remember that land animal you ripped apart like a Hollywood rendition of Jack the Ripper? Well, don’t forget that animals are people too which means they’re warm just like us. If you ever find yourself in a pickle just crawl inside its carcass and the hot blood will keep you cosy warm all night. And as an added bonus, you can always skin it and make a fur coat. We have no room for waste here, people. 

5. The Cold: Pacifist Edition
Now, for those of you who aren’t really into killing. I’ve got a Doc-approved idea just for you. It's simple really, all you have to do is find yourself  [ he pauses for dramatization ] a Cuddle Buddy!!!

[ He’s so excited he grabs some random person off camera and cuddles them as he says his good-bye. ]

Truly? I've never heard of such a thing! Of course, Highgarden was always warm, even our winters were mild and brought only rain.

Highgarden? Is that resort or something?

[ Because it sounds kind of nice and he kind of wants to go there... ]

[she laughs brightly]

No, it's my home! The seat of House Tyrell for the past three hundred years. It's quite lovely.

[and now will fall into the hands of another family]

[ He comes from a family farm so a 'seat of a House' kind of goes over his head. However, it sure does sound nice. ]

Your home? What's it like there?

[it was incredibly nice. she didn't appreciate it enough when she was alive]

It's absolutely beautiful. There are rose gardens everywhere and no matter where you go in the keep, you can smell them in the air. Those aren't the only gardens we have, of course, but they are my favorites.

[glazedonutholes]

Oh... that's sounds really nice. Before I got here, I used to live in a garden too. The whole place smelled of larkspur, I even slept on the petals when I was feeling lonely.

[ More like they grew around him when he was feeling lonely. ]

I miss it. [which is an understatement] Larkspur are lovely flowers and they smell so nice. It must have been wonderful to sleep among them. As much as I love roses, you can't sleep among them due to the thorns.

[glazedonutholes]

Yeah, they can be dangerous if handled without care. Is that why you like them?

[roseofthetyrells]

[a teasing smile] Indeed. I've always felt we had much in common.

[glazedonutholes]

Like the thorns and beauty?

[roseofthetyrells]

Indeed. I may look as pretty as a rose, but I can take care of myself. I know the sword and the dagger and I'll likely be learning the bow.

[glazedonutholes]

Oh, I can tell. I mean, every person we've come across that's scared the bejesus out of has been a girl.

Wow. I think you know more than us. All we know how to do is toss and shoot. Oh, and Tucker knows how to use the sword on account that it won't get up for anyone else. But the bow? [ Here he touches his chin. ] No... I don't think I know any of them.

What's that Earth saying? "The female of the species is deadlier than the male?"

I can teach you how to use a sword if you like? Granted, I'm sure you have even deadlier weapons at hand, but it never hurts to have something unexpected that you can do.

[glazedonutholes]

Really! I always wanted to use a sword!

[ He pouts. ]

Tucker never wanted me to touch his.

[ And he's back to smiling. ]

But what he doesn't know can't hurt him!

[ /wink ]

Now you'll have your chance!

[she beams]

That's rather selfish of him.

[and continues beaming]

Precisely! You're a man grown, you can do as you please. And if it pleases you to learn the sword, so be it.
