[Tyki finishes his glass of wine then, uncomfortable but he's willing to talk. It's not that he's ashamed of his darker traits. It's just they're hard to handle, and most people wouldn't handle them quite as nicely as Ianchus does. He doesn't seem disgusted at all by him, and that's appealing.] It's not pleasant or unpleasant on a physical level. But emotionally, it's powerful. Perhaps frighteningly so.

Mmm. I can only imagine.
[He can't stop the grin that breaks over his mouth, as if he's said something arousing and scandalous. He takes a moment to collect himself, then tilts his head at Tyki, slight concern tinging his expression, though his hand is still hovering near his mouth.]

I apologize. Is this an unpleasant topic?

[Ianchus is awful and addictive, and a wonderfully bad influence on Tyki. And that's the kind of thing that makes him warm up more, the mix of that grin and the concern even if it's slight.] No, it's not like that. But you have to understand, it's hard not to worry about how others will respond to this sort of conversation. It's hardly comforting to people what I'm capable of.

[vocarrah]

[Ah, but he understands that worry, doesn't he. He nods, moving to fill Tyki's glass again--the red, this time.]

I understand that. I won't talk to anyone about what we talked about. So...be at ease.

[His voice lowers slightly, that mysterious smile still there.]

I understand plenty about dark tendencies. I shan't judge. I promise.

[More wine helps Tyki to settle, and he nods in response.] I know. And I appreciate that. People talk. And those words don't always end up heard in the way they should be. It's easy to misconstrue. [Tyki raises an eyebrow then.] I judge myself anyway. But darker tendencies do that to a person, I suppose.

[vocarrah]

[Ianchus sips his wine silently, thoughtfully.]

Judging oneself...ah. It's difficult, isn't it?　When all you want is to be close to people, but you fear destroying them.

[Melodramatic? Ah, maybe. He'd never said he was anything else.]

[He doesn't really strike Tyki as melodramatic. He'd fit right in with his family, honestly. There's a lot of over the top going on there as is. he's subtle compared to some of them.

Tyki nods, working on another long sip of wine.] It's hard when you enjoy causing harm. I'm not a particularly cruel person. But in the act, when it happens, the rush is incredible.

[vocarrah]

[He perks up at that, peering at Tyki with a deep interest, snatching on those words. Did he just admit what he thought he admitted. Not cruel, but...]

Ah. You enjoy hurting people?

[It's not at all accusatory. Just curious. Overwhelmingly curious.]
