After nearly being eaten alive by a monster chest I find this joke to be very un-funny. Also, my CODEC doesn't seem to be functioning here. Are all radio transmissions disabled? If so, I seek to restore communication with my device, so that I may get out of here.

[He had tried using his CODEC to contact Shadow Moses but nothing. Contacting Ocelot or the other members of FOXHOUND was a no go.]

I believe it was one of the gods who brought you here, just as they brought the rest of us, Liquid Snake-dono. [ A little complicated to say in full but okay. ] What is a codec and what sort of breed is a foxhound?

A CODEC is a communication device which I use back home. It's rather complicated to explain unless you are technologically advanced. As for FOXHOUND, that's the name of my unit.
