[The feed snaps on to show a rather angry and annoyed looking blond, who doesn't seem to be wearing a shirt. Nope. Just a trench coat and pants. He's a man who's lost, out of his time and he wants answers. As he begins to speak many will notice his posh British accent.]
Hello, my name is Liquid Snake. I demand to know who brought me here to this hell hole. I demand answers and if I don't get those answers I shall seek out whoever brought me here and make them give me what I seek.
[Yeah, let's just say he's pretty pissed off right now.]
After nearly being eaten alive by a monster chest I find this joke to be very un-funny. Also, my CODEC doesn't seem to be functioning here. Are all radio transmissions disabled? If so, I seek to restore communication with my device, so that I may get out of here.
[He had tried using his CODEC to contact Shadow Moses but nothing. Contacting Ocelot or the other members of FOXHOUND was a no go.]
Whoever is listening to this, you'd do well to see to my requests, as I am the leader of FOXHOUND. Do not test me.

[Not to mention what kind of a name is Liquid Snake, really.]

[That's where his base is. Also, he loves to show off. This is what it's mainly all about.]

Posturing does nothing. Do what you must, but there will be no harm to the civilians here. Is that understood?
video;
More like if he goes ahead and does whatever knuckleheaded thing he must, the civilians are gonna harm him. Am I right?
[ha. ha ha. she's hilarious.]
You're hardly a civilian. But as you say. There would be the expected consequences.

I did not say that I would harm anyone. I only wish to find out who brought me here in the first place and why.

[Guess who doesn't like threats much. Guess.]
If you are going to act reasonably, then I will share my intelligence with you. Behave like some foolish teenager and you will be treated like one.

Damn. Everybody watch out. Tough guy over here is the leader of FOXHOUND.
Hate to break it to you, dude, but we're all stuck here, no matter what secret clubs you're a part of. Better get comfortable.
no subject
FOXHOUND is no joke. I have elite special forces under my command back where I came from. They wouldn't think twice about killing anyone who bothers me. [Such as anyone who is rude to him.]
Stuck here? I refuse to believe that. There must be a way out of this hell hole somewhere. [Please? Because it's cramping his style.]
no subject
[She's pretty fearless on a normal basis, but after going through this song and dance with other newcomers this month... Lilith looks positively bored.]
And you better start believing. We've all been stuck for months.

Do you believe threatening these people will gain you their help? My opinion of you was higher than this.
[ A pause, considering. ]
And you were not nearly eaten. [ Which he says as if it's a tiny complaint. His chin lifts. ] I warned you of what they did.
no subject
It practically nearly chewed my hand off. You could say eaten in that context. [Yeah, right.]
no subject
It wasn’t that bad. There’s worse than those chests in the caves.
[ This is perhaps not the most comforting thing he could have said. Regardless, the point remains: Snake, you are being dramatic. ]
By the masters, you mean the gods here. I doubt they’ll let us go because we talk. From what I’ve heard, they draw their power from all of us, whether we agree to it or not.

Okay, so seeking out who brought you here is gonna be kind of hard, since it's a what instead of a who. It's like, some sort of inter-dimensional door no one knows how to work, so...
[That's a thing.]
And yeah, only these phones of Hope's work here. I mean, it's possible some other electronics do if they have battery? But they wouldn't have like, connection or signals or anything.
[He's still holding out hope his iPhone will work enough to access the files on it once it gets some power, but it's pretty much for sure it won't make calls.]
no subject
[Liquid thought for a moment. That would explain a lot of things. At least this guy was being helpful instead of scornful.]
I noticed the phone upon arrival. It's like no phone I've seen before, yet where I come from people use CODEC. Much more easier to use and more technologically advanced. [Because he had one and used it to talk to people.]
no subject
[And okay, he's curious.]
People here are from like, lots of different technology levels. What's a CODEC?

[So not worth a thing. Steve has questions of his own, about FOXHOUND and how he managed to escape the monster chest when his shirt wasn't so lucky. But first things first.]
You're from England?
no subject
Yes, I am. I was brought up in the UK as a child and joined various military forces. [Then creating his own unit; FOXHOUND.]

So at the risk of bein' insensitive, I'm gonna say... cry some more.
Seriously though dude, cover the nipples at least. We've got kids here.

I arrived without a shirt, as I choose not to wear one. [Because he loves showing off his man chest.] I am not crying. [Was this guy taking the piss?]
At least I don't look like someone going to an anime convention.

[He offered a small smile and nodded. The name was important to him.]
A CODEC is a communication device which I use back home. It's rather complicated to explain unless you are technologically advanced. As for FOXHOUND, that's the name of my unit.
