[The screen shakes a little as Semiyon settles it into place on the windowsill] 

Good evening. It is likely that you do not know me but this is not important. My name is Semiyon Kleiman and I am hoping to...well...to start a sort of business. Or perhaps it is better to call it an organization.

[He waves a hand dismissively, the specific wording isn't all that important.]

That is, a place for entertainment. Card games, for example...perhaps with something at stake.... [gambling is the word he's dancing around] and perhaps sports more interesting for those who have pent up energy and frustration that has little outlet in this place. Perhaps something along the lines of boxing or wrestling...whatever people might prefer. 

[Though in reality he is envisioning something more of a fight club rather than a regulated boxing match.] 

At the moment all of this is purely in the hypothetical, I simply wanted to see who among us might be interested or who might even be skilled enough to help me make such a thing a reality. 

If perhaps you are one of these people, do feel free to let me know.

Between the usually violent creatures showing up every month for people to take their aggression out on and the ones asking to be taught how to fight from time to time, making a club for it seems redundant. Someone wants a fight, they can just take it out back or punch a monster's face on their own time.

I would not be opposed to such a thing, if the matches were conducted honorably.

Well, the difference being, of course, that gladiators were more often than not property and such a rule would not apply here. All participants would be strictly voluntary.

I have already been contacted by some who are very eager. Perhaps they might be of your level. There was a concern there would be no one up for the, well, the more challenging opponents.

Let us say that this has been my business for nearly half a century.

[The answer is followed by a curious hum as he pauses in thought.]

Your question...it implies you think someone, most likely yourself i would guess, could do better?

I might be, yeah. But I'm not comin' out of nowhere. You and I, we have similar pedigrees. I don't have half a century, but hey, I'm not that old yet.

[Give him time, in other words. He doesn't see himself ever doing anything else, after all. Not exactly an easy job to leave.]

Of course. Is there a location you'd prefer? I can always open my shop to you. [Tyki doesn't care what it takes or what he has to do if it can get some decent entertainment into this dull city. When the events and trauma are the most exciting things to happen, it's a sign that a town is sorely in need of a better nightlife.]
