-Is this working? I hope it is. [The words are have muttered, since Sabriel's speaking to herself. Then she takes a deep breath, and speaks, her words much clearer as she's now speaking into the microphone. Her tone is also a lot more formal.]

Greetings. My name is Sabriel, and I'm a recent arrival here- I'd like to do my best to help, so if anyone has need of me, I will do my best to help. I have some skill in Charter magic and swordplay and I- [Sabriel almost says 'I'm a necromancer' but thinks better of it- best to avoid misunderstandings.] I have training in dealing with the restless Dead.

Also, I understand that a creature from my world is here. His name is Mogget, and I would like to find him as soon as possible. [And Sabriel's tone abruptly changes. The formality fades, and her voice becomes more urgent.]

And for everyone's sake, don't try to remove his collar!

He didn't say, and I don't think I can force him to- all he'll say is that he's a servant of Abhorsen. And the binding itself is doesn't say either.

So there's no known purpose for it, and the only reason it shouldn't be removed is that he might retaliate for it having been placed on him to begin with?

Well, that and Free magic is inimical to Life, and Free magic spirits when left to their own devices are generally unbound by any sort of morality, from what I know of them. Much like the magic they're composed of.

[Connor is getting less and less convinced that there's a good reason here, because this sounds a whole lot like humans just messing with and trying to control other beings for their own benefit, but that doesn't mean he's going to actually do anything about it just yet. It's simply something now on his radar to find out more about.]

I'll keep all of that in mind. Is Mogget the only other individual from your world here?

There's the Dog- the Disreputable Dog. She seems to know of Mogget, and she has a collar like his, with powerful magic on it... but it's not a binding. And she's friendlier than Mogget.

She's the one who told me Mogget was here, and how to use this device.
