[A quick look shows that Sonya's quarters seems to have escaped the whole 'island of misfit toys' curse. Much as she should be relieved by this, she seems more despondent and drained then anything.]

Up until this point, I've tried to keep personal history and stories from the network, but..fuck it, not like most of us are sleeping anyway. [There's no music in the background, something that those who know her would find strange. With electricity being in low supply, she's trying to conserve it for necessities only.]

For those who I haven't met, my name's Sonya Blade, Lieutenant colonel in the United States military if it means anything.

Back home, I have a two month old daughter who needs to be fed every few hours, even at night. Nothing I'm not used to, military shifts usually mean short nights anyway, but..I keep waking up out of habit and thinking Cass needs to be fed..or taken care of in some way.

Point being, it feels too damn empty in this place.

Does anyone need a place to wait out whatever's going on? I have enough room for two or three people, so long as one doesn't mind sharing a bed. As far as I know, nothing in my place is alive or moving.

I know, I was sent home..well, it was a short while, but back home it was some years.

[She sighed, wondering if she should've said in original video that she'd been sent back earlier. Of course, it was too late not.] Thank you, but I already offered the other room and someone accepted it. Would be rude to tell them I changed my mind. You're welcome to come over though.

Oh, I see... I am really sorry. Hopefully this time that won't be the case.

[That's all she can offer, hope, when no one really knows how the Door works and how their lives are actually affected by it.] It's okay, I'm just glad you found company. And... sure, why not? I could use some company myself.

One could only home. [She stopped putting expectations on this place weeks ago.

She normally doesn't open her home to strangers either, but it just made her realize how desperate she was for distractions. She gave her directions to her quarters.] I have room for one more, if you don't mind sharing.

That's something, at least.

[Rydia seems to consider it for a moment, humming on the other side of the phone, then sighs.] As inviting as it sounds and as lonely my apartment feed I do have a close friend living at the top of my apartment area and I want to stick around. That being said... maybe I could visit? And maybe spend some nights over if you don't mind? [She also feels like her place can get too silent at times.]

[The refusal's meant with indifference. There were a few who accepted and a number who just agreed to visit. Either way it meant a night not alone with her own thoughts, which was her intention.] Sure, just let me know beforehand. I have a spare room.

Sure and, well, a bed won't be necessary? I can just come with the blankets for home if the last room fills up. [Rydia wants company, she really does, but she can't leave Kain behind again.] When others sleep the whole building here is too silent. So... yeah, even if you wake up at night feel free to call me? [Let's admit it, she's the one who could use company too]
