Near a new hole in the ice stands Sal Fisher, proudly holding up a pair of ... fish? Probably fish. They're alien and pretty bizarre-looking, but Sal is holding them in a classic I Caught This pose. Gotta be fish.

[This is a cat. The voice that comes from it definitely sounds like what a cat would sound like if cats could talk.

Maine has been in Hadriel for a few months now. He's seen time made irrelevant and experienced people reading his thoughts. He's seen magic and communicated with "gods." But this? This is making him think he might be fucking crazy. Because there is a cat talking to him.

So Maine just ... waves at Sal and points to his communicator. Wordlessly handing over the call, as it were. Because clearly, the man who loves cats and has a weird gurgling moth-thing is a better match for this madness. ]

[Sal isn't sure what he's being waved over to see but once he gets a video feed full of cat his eyes widen. He doesn't quite put together that the voice he just heard from Maine's phone belongs to the cat, though. Clearly someone just had a cat with them, right?
