Hey. This is Yvry, not that that means shit to most of you. Anyway, a while back me and Deputy Pratt had this idea for an audio guide. More topics than just the newbie guide, but in short bursts.

Basically, something that'll keep you from having to read the entire network history, and isn't long and boring.

Anyway, here's that guide. It's mostly for new people, but I don't care who downloads it. If you've got any ideas for new topics, corrections, whatever else, I'm all ears.

Oh, and can we get one of you flying-types to go up and take a picture of the city from above? We need an accurate map, and go fuckin' figure, there's no satellites around here. Thanks.

I don't even know who looks at all that crap.

Probably just there to cover your ass if someone comes looking for a problem. At least that's one thing I don't have to worry about.

I run a shipping company. [No really.] And I guess I'm something of a politician.

Something of a politician?

[He's heard of mafia run garbage collection services, having a shipping company be a front for an illegal organization isn't that out of the question.]

I guess you get to see both sides then.

They're really not that different when you get down to it.

[Especially in his case, considering the crime lords are the politicians.]

I guess that's true.

You know that should be a depressing thought given what I do for a living.

[But he has to deal with so much other shit that for some reason that isn't really effecting him like he thinks it should.]

Should be, but you probably know it just as well as I do. The shit you see on a daily basis, probably just proves my point.

[The point that everyone is awful, no matter which side of the law they're on.]

Everyone is terrible and everything sucks? Yeah. I got that message loud and clear a long time ago.

I knew someone who'd probably say that just means we need to fix it, but shit. How do you fix the entire world?

By burning it to the ground and starting over. That's pretty much the only way.

Which you know.. is terrible and sucks. So there's no way to win here.

Pretty much. You just gotta work with what you've got. Even if all you've got is garbage.

Now that's a little far. Even in another dimension all people do with the internet, or whatever we wanna call this phone network, is whine about shit.

At least no one is spoiling movies or tv shows.
