[The video shows Maketh and Henry sitting next to each other. Maketh’s uniform has been ironed half to death, all of the angles sharp enough to cut, and she quite possibly has never looked so professional in her life.]
Hello, Hadriel. Many of you have been patrolling and protecting the city on your own. It’s time to make that official. We have taken one of the unoccupied buildings to serve as a headquarters and would invite anyone and everyone who wishes to help to come and sign up. We are going to start patrolling on a schedule, with regular reports and check-ins. It appears that we’re going to be stuck here for a while, so we ought to do this right.
We are also looking for anyone willing to teach self-defense to the civilians. Speak to myself or Henry Percy if you are interested.
[Henry wears full plate armour, of late fourteenth century craftsmanship. There is assurance in his posture throughout Maketh's address. He speaks only after she has said all that needs to be said.]
The strength of any community is bestowed in part by its unity. To that end, we aim to make a worthy contribution. Soon those who seek assistance may easily avail themselves of ours.
[Attached to the message is a map, with the location guard headquarters marked.]

[She hesitates. it's not that Maketh doesn't trust Newt - he's proven himself a survivor over and over again - but. Well.
It's hard not to worry.]
Can Peter fight? I know you can.
(More importantly. Technology was useless unless you knew how to work it.
Her worrying, as always, is welcomed. On a subconscious level really. He's not used to people worrying about him.
At the question, he can't help but snort and then out right laugh. He loved his boyfriend, really, but the idea of Peter fighting was partly hilarious.)
My god, no. He's- no. Fighting is really not his style. He's probably the least violent person I've ever met in my life. Did I ever tell you how we first met?
(Well ur gonna hear about it cause it's hilarious. Well. Mostly.)
I was looting in one of these stores when there was this guy and he scared the absolute shit out of me so I turned my gun on him and it was Peter. I think he nearly pissed himself.
(He sounds stupidly fond rather than teasing though as he tells this part, rolling his eyes.)
No. Peter and violence don't go. He can do other things though. Help out where you need him to.
(He doesn't bother mentioning that there's only one time a month wherein Peter would serve even remotely useful in a fight. That isn't his information to share.)

Is it wise to patrol at night, then?
[Maketh hesitates.] I'd feel better if you took more backup with you.
(But it does sound pretty funny when told like this. It's a relatively fond memory.
And frankly, his memories with Maketh are just as fond if only in a different way. How else would he ever have been able to get drunk with his not!mom beneath a fake sky and talk about stupid things if not for this place? It wasn't the worst but maybe they could make it a little better.)
Hm....It's no more dangerous than in the day, I don't think. The monsters in the tunnel are quite random at best.
(Newt nods and is a little touched by that concern of hers.)
That's all right. When I go, I have fairly reliable backup but if I went more consistently then sure. More people is nicer.

[In more ways than one.]
Thank you. We're building up the patrol roster, so everything ought to be easier now. I'll try to weigh the teams by skill, if I can.
