[Have a slightly bedraggled wolfman looking into the camera with a cigarette in his free hand. The screen bounces slightly, and the moving background suggests he's walking as he records.]

On behalf of Maketh, I"m gonna be running some self defence classes. It's not going to be anything very flashy or impressive - there's a lot of actual warriors here, from the sounds of it, so it's not gonna be anything that complicated - but if you don't know how to do something like escape a chokehold, then. [He shrugs as he takes a drag.] Well, it might be something.

Anyone who's interested, I'll be down by the armory. Anyone who can actually fight, I'm not gonna say no to your help.

[And true to his word, he'll be found down near the armory, having a smoke and alternating between brooding sitting near the river, and exploring the contents of the armory.]

[Though as a former cop, he probably knows most of what'll be taught -- still, a refresher never hurts. Just don't put him in for practice against normal folks. A guy with a metal skeleton can pack a powerful punch, and he'd rather not actually hurt anyone.]

[Which is indeed 'later' by about an hour. He finishes up his usual sweep of the streets and makes his way down to the armory, giving Bigby a nod as he spots him.]

[He's been a good boy about his cigarettes so far, trying not to go through too many. He's successfully drowned the smell of stale blood and adrenaline from the temple for a moment, so he stamps his butt out as Nick approaches, and nods in return.]

Detective. Ready to rumble?

As ready as I'll ever be. You expecting a crowd for this shindig of yours?

No one really knows me yet. I'm surprised people have been replying to me at all, to be honest.

[He's got no idea what to expect in this fight, but he's not about to underestimate a non-flesh person. There are entire armies back in Homeworld to attest to that kind of power.]

[That's probably best, though Nick has no idea what he's up against. He shrugs off his coat, and holster, tossing them aside for now.]

We've been needing something like this for a while now. I'd assume folks are responding because they're interested. The city's a dangerous place.

[Even if the fireflies and monster caves weren't a huge tip-off, being live bait for gods was good enough.]
