I don't know what a greek or roman is.

Being in our temples will cause you to feel mild emotions. If that counts as a catch, I suppose it is one, but it's no secret.

define "mild"

are we talking like

feeling mildly annoyed if you're hanging out w/rage or are we talking full blown 'i am going to murder everyone' lvls

because the last place i was, torture was considered a 'mild punishment'

I will preface by noting, as you know but will doubtless forget in your need to argue with me, that I believe nothing as of yet. Further, I use the term 'god' for convenience.

I do understand, however, that it is at least claimed that THIS god had nothing to do with the Door, THIS god has done nothing but attempt to alleviate the worst of the other gods and improve our lot, and theoretically, the gods cannot help that they happen to be fed by our emotions. As to the last point, obviously there is culpability in choosing to manipulate things to incite such emotion, but insofar as their temples, that's less deliberate, I'd say.

If this is entirely that girl and they are best able to keep their temples safe, with the other possibly true factors, you might as well be polite. Especially to the one god who might answer explicit requests for other essential or less essential things.

I thought a reminder as to what MIGHT be true could be useful, because whether or not you KNOW something often has precious little bearing on how you behave toward people!

I did not suggest that you trust him, I only suggested that for once in your life, you consider the advantages of etiquette.

It is possible to ask questions without having a rude attitude toward the single helpful individual who MAY NOT be responsible for any of that 'crap'.

Sunshine on daisies is a completely meaningless metaphor in this context.
