Oh, also, my iPhone was up and working for a bit thanks to Pell, and I managed to get some music off it. I'll share on the condition no one makes fun of my taste.

[The last comment is a joke--he's really not going to be too hurt by jabs about his choice in music--but the offer is serious, and attached is a download of the music he's copied off so far. It's kind of a slow process, so there's still more on the phone that he can transfer later.]

What sort of instruments make these sounds? Some of them I almost think I recognize and others are completely foreign.

Some of it's actual instruments and other parts are made by a computer. A lot of modern instruments can also be hooked up to a computer and sort of make a combo sound.

Yeah, pretty much. These phones and the kinds of phones we have at home are just small computers.

I'm doing okay. I probably should've helped out more with the city thing but actually I just killed a monster. I needed more bullets.

Surprisingly, yes. Someone else from Thedas came through the Door recently. A colleague of mine, actually.

I don't know what they're called but they were the things in the arena when I first got here. They're kind of gelatinous and see-through and have faces made of teeth.

That's awesome; not that they're stuck here, but you know. It's nice to have friends or at least people you know around.
