[Chris smiles and gives a small wave at the camera when the feed starts, then turns his hand to show Hope's blessing on the back of it.]

So uh, who else got one? And are they all from Hope, or...?

[This is so cool you guys he wants to see who else got what. And for something else slightly less important by still cool--]

Oh, also, my iPhone was up and working for a bit thanks to Pell, and I managed to get some music off it. I'll share on the condition no one makes fun of my taste.

[The last comment is a joke--he's really not going to be too hurt by jabs about his choice in music--but the offer is serious, and attached is a download of the music he's copied off so far. It's kind of a slow process, so there's still more on the phone that he can transfer later.]

No idea; I'm actually not sure how many monsters are from other people here's worlds but I know some came from mine.

[But it's so much fun!]

Wendigos. I think they're just in spirit form right now so you should be good as long as you don't eat any people, but uh... Yeah.

[Hopefully not eating people isn't a problem.]

But no...not eating people isn't a problem. It's actually a pretty odd thought.]

Yeah. But there was a month where Rage mixed human in with the food supply, and if you engage in cannibalism you can be possessed by the wendigo spirit and it turns you into a monster.

So a lot of people who were here for that don't touch any of the meat, even though it's probably safe now. Just so you know.

I will keep that in mind. It sounds...rather unfortunate.

[But very interesting. Did it apply to monsters who ate other monsters? Had it been tested so that it truly wouldn't effect humans any longer? Food - HA! - for thought, Chara supposed.]

Yeah. It wasn't great.

[Chris had actually wondered that first question and never did get an answer.]

Was it caused by the gods? If you do not mind me going into it.

[They'd like information on this...for possible future reference.]

We don't know if the wendigo spirits were purposefully brought in by them, but they purposefully screwed with the food to make some people get possessed, yeah.

[He's gotten used to talking about it by now, though he is glad it's text because it's definitely easier.]

And beyond this incident there have been no reports of people becoming possessed? I have yet to meet these creatures so I do not know their behaviors.

[Did it come down to the gods doing whatever they wanted or would the effects remain after they had their fun?]

I don't think so. The spirits are probably in the caves and since someone would have to be in the caves and eat someone else to get possessed, it's probably pretty unlikely.]

[Though in this place probably less unlikely than it might've otherwise been.]

Noted. One last thing. I am assuming there is no cure for those possessed beyond death.

[It stands to reason that once those creatures got their hooks into someone they probably wouldn't let go.]

There wasn't at home. Here Hope offered to cure anyone that could be brought to the Temple, but that was kind of difficult.

[He tried twice to bring friends who were transforming to Hope's Temple and it's still hard to believe he survived.]

[They're going to cut this short since Chara suspects the text slap fight with Sans isn't going to end well.]
