[Misa is nervous, scared that she might be revealing too much and that this isn't the right move to make, isn't what Light would want her to do. But none of that shows on her face as she beams at the camera, as if she isn't trapped alone in a realm of her own nightmares. All smiles here!]

Hi, my name is Misa! This place is super scary, isn't it? Dead people walking around and monsters, I hope everyone is okay.

[She takes a moment to look genuinely concerned.]

Are there other people here who are still alive? I'd like to meet you. It... seems like we don't belong in a place like this, right?

[She could leave it there, a call for faces and names that may be of use to her. Or...]

Also, I'm worried that there is a dangerous criminal here.

[She lets her smile fade, fear creeping into her tone.]

His name is M, or Mello. He kidnapped my boyfriend's sister and held her hostage at home, I think he could be connected to all of us being trapped here.

Yeah, there's uh... Kind of weird mix of people here. But there's lot of people that are just, you know, living humans.

[It's still kind of weird that that isn't everyone, but he's mostly gotten used to it at this point.]

You uh, said your name is Misa, right? I'm Chris.

Hi Chris!

[She gives him a winning smile.]

That's good to hear, maybe this place won't be so scary once I meet more people.

[He offers a small smile of his own in return, even if it's kind of forced. Nothing against Misa, he's just having a really bad week.]

It's definitely better when you're not alone, yeah. Is uh, Mello the only person here from your world? Have you found a place to stay yet?

[Misa makes a face, uncomfortable with talk of different worlds. She doesn't have a better explanation to offer, but it's still hard to accept.]

I know a couple people. They're both dangerous. I... guess I found a place to stay? It's empty anyway...

[The looter lifestyle does not sit well with her. Where are the hotels?]

[That's pretty bad luck on the other people from her world thing, so he focuses on the other part.]

If the place you found is empty you're probably good; everyone just sort of claims a place. You can take whatever you want from the shops too, but I suggest kind of testing out the appliances before you cook anything or whatever. They're a little... Not easy to use.

[Also the washing machine turns stuff pink if you're not careful.]

What about keys? And money? This place is so weird, at the colosseum there were monsters attacking everyone but now it's like we're supposed to live like normal!

Depends on the place but uh, look around in the house, there might be keys somewhere? You can also find like, deadbolts and things in the shops sometimes. Money's totally not a thing here.

[Which at least saves that headache, considering he hadn't been carrying any cash when he arrived and he's pretty certain his credit cards wouldn't work too well in another world.]

But... Yeah. Pretty much. I know it's really weird, but it's just kind of how things go here.

[Although at the mention of the monsters he remembers something he should've asked earlier.]

Are you um, okay? Not like, hurt or anything from the monsters or before you got here?

Don't worry, Misa is a-okay!

[She winks, all smiles. It's nice to have someone worrying about her.]

People helped me out back then. If I do find a deadbolt, could you be my handy-man?

[Okay, that's good, but he's... Not expecting the request, and he's so not the handyman type. But he does like to help, and he's actually installed a deadbolt before, so--]

Yeah, sure, no problem.

Have you, been kind of filled in on what the whole deal about this place is?

[Having a deadbolt will be one less thing to worry about, she has been sleeping with one eye open ever since arriving here.]

Kind of... Misa doesn't really understand a lot of it.

[He offers another faint smile at the thanks, before going serious again.]

Okay, well, it uh... Sounds kind of ridiculous, but basically you're in another world because this god Fear opened something called the Door and so people just keep showing up here. He and the other gods all say they can't um, bring or send back anyone specific though.

Oh and there's five gods right now: Hope, Fear, Rage, Delight, and Sorrow. They all like, get energy by us feeling whatever emotion they're named after, and so a few times a month one or more of them come up with some scheme to make us feel whatever. Everything's all dark at the moment because it's Fear's turn this time.

[And this event is pretty harmless, thankfully.]

[That is a lot to take in. It's not that Misa is averse to believing in gods that manipulate humans, or live in their own world; it's more the fact that she is stuck here with them. Hasn't she had enough paranormal run-ins to last a lifetime? Why are gods always focused on her?]

Hope and Delight sound nice... Okay, Misa will stop being afraid. That guy doesn't need any more power!

Hope and Delight are both pretty great, yeah, especially Delight.

[Hope's been a lot easier to get along with lately too though, as far as Chris is concerned. And he's not so sure it's that easy to just not feel fear, but if she can pull it off more power to her.]

Um, other important stuff... Uh, this is another pretty weird thing, but um... Hope brings people back to life when they die.

[But maybe she's already figured that out, with her comments about dead people? He's not entirely sure about that.]

He's the one responsible??

[Maybe Misa doesn't like Hope so much after all, if he's the one to blame for L walking around.]

[Not the reaction he was expecting, but...]

Uh, yeah. If they died here, anyway.

Oh, no. The person I'm thinking of died at home. How is that possible?

[Okay, well, that explains some things.]

I don't know exactly, but um... Yeah. There are a few people here who died in their worlds before they got here.
