Yeah, usually. If it's for stuff we want we usually need to make some sort of deal, but Delight and Hope are both pretty cool about that. Necessities though Hope takes care of because he doesn't want any of us dying.

[He doesn't really suggest making deals with any of the other gods even though unbeknownst to him Rage would probably be the best for Kaneki's specific issue.]

Yeah, we come back to life, but I think that takes a lot of power for Hope so it's easier for him to just prevent us from dying instead of bringing us back all the time.
