[For a video being shot in the middle of a zombie invasion, the redhead onscreen sure looks cheerful. Is it because she's in Delight's bar, or because she's having fun fighting the undead horde?

Both. And then some.]

I'm Faith, I just got here a few days ago. Lucky me, right? Well, no, I really am, 'cause a friend of mine from home's been here for months now.

[She shifts her phone so Kate appears on the screen, casually fighting a few zombies.

When Faith turns the camera back on herself, she is mid giggle.]

Anyway! We've picked up another roomie and moved into a house, and I think that calls for a party.

So! Delight's been good enough to lend the bar for it! [Hence why she and Kate are currently defending it from the undead.

Well, okay, no. They just wound up here, but Faith's pretty sure Delight appreciates people protecting her contribution to the city's entertainment.]

Now's not a good time, I know, but once these little bastards are gone, we should all get together and celebrate! 'Cause we survived, and 'cause I really do still want a housewarming.

So how 'bout... a week from today? If the zombies are still 'round then, I'll reschedule. [Because that's... how living here works...?] Oh, and if you can sing, d'you want to? Delight says some of you are good at that!

[She glances offscreen -- at Kate, probably -- then back at the camera, shrugging.] Time to get back to work. Let me know, yeh? I'll answer you soon as I can. Bye!

[She blows a kiss and gives a little wave before the feed cuts out.]

[Elmer is doing the same thing, fixing up his fortifications as best he can.]

That's the spirit! I just wish I had some entertainment if I had known I was going to be locked up for who knows how long. I regret not saving the batteries for my Gameboy for a special occasion, now. Sitting around here is getting quite dull, in between the times zombies are trying to rip their way into my house.

Aw, poor thing! Maybe you can ask someone to sing for you? Delight says there's some good singers here. Or if you feel strong enough, you can fight zombies for fun.

I'm not much of a fighter, I'm afraid. But if we need to cut down on the amount of zombies out there and my help is needed, then I suppose I'll do my best to help out and keep everyone smiling.

Oh no no no, wait til they're all gone and maybe you can train some if you're not comfortable fighting. Now's not the time to test your mettle, yeah? Don't want you getting bitten! Those of us who can fight, we'll take care of it so none of the rest of you has to bother, okay?

That's very kind of you! But I'll be okay. I'm actually immortal. ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡ However I don't know if a zombie virus would affect me. Probably not, but it's never come up before.

And I wouldn't want to give you kind folks who are helping out one more zombie to have to take out! How are you managing to kill them, by the way? One bloke here told me you have to stake them, but that goes against everything I've ever heard about zombies! I always thought that was for vampires.

Kate's sticking them in the head with knives, and I'm lobbing their heads off with my quarterstaff. Seems like decapitation's the way to go! Or utterly destroying them, but decapitation's faster.

See?! I am starting to think that bloke was pulling my leg. Who'd ever heard of staking a zombie before? I can't think of a single book or movie where that's the case. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

I don't know, he might've been! I just think decapitating them's easier. Also, likely less messy than staking them. Can't exactly keep attacking you once their heads are off, but a stake can take a while to work, right?

Depends on how good you are with one! Speaking as someone who has been staked, it can be quite immediately effective if you're not expecting it

When you die and people see you come back to life a few moments later, they get the wrong idea. They also aren't always receptive to explanations either. That's how I got staked. But seeing as I'm not a vampire, I managed to get out of it, eventually. ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )

Oooh my god that's terrible. Did you make peace with your friends?

Sort of. I think they eventually just got used to me, but it took a long while. I think staying in that abandoned castle only reinforced their idea of me being a vampire for awhile, though. But they eventually learned I am harmless. /o/

Oh boy. Sounds like a rough time. Good to hear they know you're not out to hurt them!
